And you certainly would drool, ras ;-) It belonged once to BCer "Mojo" -he had an unlined ebony board put on it, it's lovely! My BB2000 is the one though, irreplaceable ;-) and I'm guessing the sound from Brian's 1024 here isn't a million miles away from it. So, another bump for a great bass. Come and get it people!
Cheers Bobby and Ras you've helped make my thread a hot topic! It was having a shot of Bobby's BB2000 that originally lead to me getting the 1024 and I think its as close to that classic tone as you could get. Pups are hot and its a proper rock monster!
Hello Bri! Sorry to see you're having to sell this on and bad news about your accident mate :-( Anyone considering buying this, Brian is a top bloke, buy with confidence ;-) And thus, bump!
Cheers for the kind words Bobby! If you don't want to take my word for how good the bb series are, have a word with Bobby he's very knowledgeable about these p bass killers

Im sure my LB212 is rated at 300w I called the guy who designed it at Ashdown and he told me it was more than capable of handling the OTB. Its a 4 ohm cab, I run the head on the 4 ohm setting and if I took it over a 1/4 vol id blow the rest of the band off stage! 500w is its maximum output and I cant see anyone running these flat out. Like the advice above get a decent cab and youll be sorted.

I play mine through an Ashdown Little Bastard 212 these were the last of the cabs made in England for ashdown (by orange actually!) Its a 4 ohm cab and the otb sounds huge through it. Large pubs and it still hasnt gone over 1/4 vol
No definitely right price, slow market though I'm afraid

Absolutely fab basses....I tried many many fenders priced way above these and this came out on top. The neck is lovely and the pickups are stonking....I love mine! You won't find it cheaper than this. GLWTS!
Thanks guys. Thought I was in the right ballpark. Good to have it backed up independently though
Yamaha are the best at that £200 price range. There is a 425 on here at the minute for exactly that amount. +1 Total bargain, please buy it before I give in and buy another one.
-
