  1. Cool I use Autodesk software too. hot any images you can show?
  2. Hi not sure is this is the right place, so sorry if not. As well as playing bass/guitar I do 3D CAD for a job. I’m just curious - when you design a new guitar do you use CAD software or sketch it in paper? I would be interested in trying to do a bass/guitar in 3D…. If it would help you design them I would love to be involved. Cheers Glyn
  3. Thank you for the kind words Woolf. Glyn
  4. I just bought 2 Spectors off Woolf. In the dasy before I turned up for the trade, he was helpful and answered all of my questions. When I got to his house, he was great. He has such a rounded knowledge and experience of music and instruments - very knowledgeable! The transaction was great, and the basses are even better. Very happy indeed.
  5. Everyone should!!!
  6. Hey. Got more photos of the bass you're building?

    Hello

Hi, My name is Glyn. My rig - Spector Euro 4LX Spector Euro 5LX Ampeg SVT 4 head Ampeg 4x10 cab Ampeg 1x15 cab Favourite bassists - Jason Newsted Geezer Butler Phil Lynott Lemmy I've been playing since 1992. The album that turned me onto bass was Metallica's Black Album - then I progresses to Pantera Vulgar Display of power. I've spent most of the past 15 years playing in Sabbath and Ozzy tribute bands, the covers bands before stopping playing in about 2018. Starting to play again now. I have a home recording set up, and I'm 14 years into writing/recording/Producing my album - I keep learning new tricks and tweeks... hence 14 years. I love playing and have played most genres over the years. My favourite is hard rock. (the pic is from a few years ago before I lost the hair).
