  1. Hi all, A recent hip replacement has gifted me something special: clarity and a frightening amount of spare time to play with my gear and even more hours to realise I don't need most of it. So here’s your chance to grab some gear that’s been gently neglected but lovingly appreciated. Recorded delivery within the UK is included in the price. If you’d prefer an alternative postage option or want a few more bells and whistles, feel free to get in touch to discuss. Unless otherwise stated, all items come with their original box and power supply Descriptions include links to the manufacturers’ websites. Go ahead, fall down the rabbit hole of overly poetic knob explanations. (‘Warm yet assertive?’ What does that mean?)” Mesa Subway® D-800™ Preamp - (No Power Supply). £150 - SOLD Eventide ModFactor - All the standards - Chorus, Flanger, Phaser as well as Rotary, Tremolo, and Vibrato. (No box) £150 Eventide Blackhole - Pretty good reverb pedal. £140 XPND PEDALBOARDS Expanding Single Row - (No box or power supply) - £55 Ernie Ball Volt Power Supply - £80 RockBoard TRES 3.3, Pedalboard with Gig Bag - includes 2 sliding drawers (No box or power supply) - £90 IK Multimedia AXE I/O Solo Recording Interface - (No box, power supply or IK Multimedia Free Software) - £60 I can post in the UK only. EU shipping, however, involves a soul-crushing bureaucracy designed by someone who clearly hates bass players. So… no. Happy to answer any questions, though be warned, I’ve spent more time looking at these pedals than actually using them. They’ve basically lived a sparse life under soft lighting. No trades thanks, Regards, Neil.

It currently has Velcro on the bottom (which I can remove), and the box contains the four little rubber feet. Postage is included within the £150 Sorry EU pals, I will only post within the UK. If you have any questions, just shoot me a message. Link to Eventide (examples) Here is the science bit. The Eventide Blackhole includes onboard tone controls, modulation, and infinite reverb settings with mono or stereo operation, MIDI control, preset storing, and compact new, intuitive interface. Amazing Features. Five presets loaded at your feet with dozens more available with Eventide Device Manager (EDM) software Rear panel Guitar/Line Level switch for selecting use with guitar, synths, FX loop or DAW interface Use a single Aux switch to Tap Tempo or a triple Aux switch for easy preset changing (up/down/load) Map any combination of parameters to an Expression Pedal Dual action Active Footswitch is latching or momentary
  3. Hi Up for sale is an Empress Bass compressor in a nice sparkly blue. It's in pretty good condition (See Pics) and comes in the original box. It currently has Velcro on the bottom (which I can remove), and the box contains the four little rubber feet. Postage is included within the £150 Sorry EU pals, I will only post within the UK. If you have any questions, just shoot me a message. Link to Empress Here's the science bit On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.
  4. Blimey that's a good price! I'm after a new compressor, this would be the same as buying a new compressor with a free amp thrown in.......and I live close to Norwich....must resist. All the best with the sale! Cheers Neil.
  5. Can you please stop reducing the price, do you know how hard it is to function sitting on your hands and repeatedly saying be good....you don't need it (I do) stay away from the keyboard 😭 Joking aside, good luck with the sale.
  6. Not yet, but the trigger will be pulled sometime today/tomorrow, as according to the wife, I either use it or lose it. I'm after a 60's style Jazz and have my eyes on @jay-syncro Sadowsky, Richtone's American Vintage II and BassBro's 60th Anniversary. Although I would be equally happy with Jays KSD Jazz and have enough cash to buy other shiny things to play with. I suspect the final decision will be when the boss puts her foot down and if she wants whatever I don't spend back.
  7. Bu66er, I've been looking for a used one these for ages, all the reviews say its ticks all the boxes.........and as per normal one pops up when I am particularly skint! Good luck with sale!
  8. Hi all, Really appreciate the feedback. I must admit that I do normally buy from this very boutique rather than new. I currently have a pimped MTD Kingston Super 5 and a 1980's Squier P, in the past I have had basses from most brands (some high end, some not), although I have never had a fender....just never got round to it. So I fancy a 35 inch, Jazz (ish) 5 string, a Lakland would probably be the perfect fit, but why pay ~ £1.5 from a dealer when there's one in the used section for £500 less. The only benefit in buying new is the potential to get 'finance' to spread the cost. I could probably used the spare cash to buy a second hand helix, a whole rig for the price of the new bass. Time to break open the piggy bank.
  9. Hey there, I know this might seem like a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but I've managed to scrape together around £1500 for a new bass. It's not about any specific brand or type; it's more about the principle. While a shiny new bass would be fantastic, I can't help but think that the same amount could get me several cheaper basses, whether second-hand or entry-level. The quality of budget models has improved significantly in recent years (though they might need a bit of a fret dress). Plus, there's always the option to mod cheaper basses to suit your style. So, my question is, is there any real benefit to buying a brand new £1500 bass these days, or should I just go for the more affordable options? Cheers
  10. Hi All, I'm putting up for sale my Nano Cortex along with the official DSP/Neural power supply. It's about a month old, in 'excellent' condition and comes with the original box. The reason for sale is that I want to get a 5 string Jazz, so last in, first out. In terms of trades, happy to consider a 5 string jazz, with cash your way depending on the trade. Will add some pictures when I get home.....spoiler alert it looks like a nano cortex 😉 Happy to post to the UK (sorry EU chums), not sure of cost, but if its around a £10 I will cover. Cheers Neil.

  11. Hi all, If anyone is after a 3 button one, Amazon have them in the black Friday sale for £249.
  12. This would look so good alongside my MTD Super 5......must sit on hands and must resist...GAS does not exist...... GLWTS!
  13. Hi, It might be worth checking out the following review of the new software for the pedal, it does look as though you can turn the amp off (its towards the end of the review). Definitely worth a look.
  14. As per the title. https://www.andertons.co.uk/second-hand-line-6-stomp-xl-boxedSH-241-3579/
  15. I know I don't need this or your Sadowsky PJ (confirmed several times by the Chief Financial Bass Officer) but I keep coming back to them. I've watched the LEL review above and this seems like an absolute steal for the money, even if you upgraded some of the hardware further down the line. Bugger....Its payday this week....
