Cheers @Kev - turns out he doesn't know because the base plate with the serial number has been replaced. It's on Facebook for £100 with offers, I reckon £75 may be more realistic based on these replies

Some older units will have the serial in the battery component, but if it’s just a Taiwanese Octave, yeah....£75 maybe. That said, missing baseplate, £50-£60 🤷‍♂️
