Did he not say he had switched them around ? Unless he switched all four at the same time?

I don't read things properly at the best of time but I've been drinking wine, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
Ouch. I played through one at the London Bass Show, was thoroughly underwhelmed I have to say. Which is good because Aguilar was an amp itch I was planning on scratching, now I can avoid it

While we're on the subject of Living Colour, I recently snared a copy of one of the early US copies of Stain with the different guitar solos on it. I think its the fifth or sixth version of the album that I'd bought.

Oooh that's quite rare isn't it? Care to share any?
All his Instagram photos suggest he's still using old Trace gear - he has an ashdown B-Social and possibly a Retroglide but his gig rigs are trave unless supplies backline I believe
I enjoyed the clip, his playing is amazing and his tone for such a light touch is amazing, I really have a lot to learn still
I used an OB1-300 last week at band practice, it was awesome with a tiny amount of saturation going on. When the overdrive "channel" was engaged more it was horrible though, IMO

I used one of these when I had a WT550.

You can probably get the same thing on eBay for less.

And one of each will still cost you less than just one of the Kala California basses. In fact, one of each of all four colours will cost you less than just one of the Kala California basses. Just think of the money you'd be saving.
Wonder if Bass Centre would give me a commission?

You certainly deserve it, a heroic sales pitch right there

And Merton, as they're different scale lengths, they're completely different basses, so you can buy one of each.

Yes indeed, hence my "argh" hehe
Gen 1 and 2 were based around the standard Eminence 15" and 12" drivers; Gen 3 uses the custom Barefaced drivers in 12" and 10" formats.
The differences between Gen 1 and 2 are as Frank described above
Welcome to the family the only trouble with ACGs is that once you pop, you can't stop. Eventually I'd like one of each model give or take haha! No 3 is currently in gestation for me - it's the funky Skelf Short Scale which has appeared in a few of Alan's videos this week

when did detachable 3x10 become daft? 16x10 is daft....
[/quote]
Shh, I'm calling it daft in case the Missus is reading it
It's not about power but about the ability to drive three 8 ohm cabs with a bit of margin for error really. It's part of a daft mid-term plan I have to make an uber modular rig with One10s
