1. I suspect my Skelf SS currently in gestation will polarise opinion then
2.
Massive price drop as I need some cash!!!
Jesus Christ Steve, you're giving this away now! Hope someone snaps it up soon for your cash needs
3. Christ, it's prices like this which make me want to have some money again
4. Bloody hell that's a ridiculous bargain! Gorgeous bass
5.
Your bananas look quite ripe. Maybe only a few more days before they turn. Possibly consider making a nice banana loaf with them if you're not going to eat them soon. Also bananas don't like other fruit, so I'd keep them apart from your apples.
Best post on an FS ad ever
6. Nice review and interesting to hear how the SC and Midget work together, I wasn't convinced it would work but sounds like it very much did
7.
It is indeed Merton, you'll find I'm the top comment on it. I'm probably going to do it!
Give it a whirl, worst case you can re sell for the same you paid
8. I'm tempted by the 1510 haha
9. Is this the one on Facebook? For £90 I think it's a good cab, I think it'll be ply but could be wrong
10. My first cab was an old MAG410 with celestion drivers and a ply cab, it was brilliant and I regret selling it because the Trace cabs which took its place weren't nearly as good IMO. If it's an early UK made I think you'll find it IS ply, they were made from 12mm ply before moving out to a China I believe
11. Yes, the first 4-5 years of the MAG series were all Uk made
12. Makes sense, the SC and original Compact are very different beasts IMO!
13. Interesting combo of old gen Midget and new SC. Will be interesting to hear how they fare together. I still rate the sC as my favourite ever cab and cannot wait to be able to afford one again
14. I failed an audition 4 years ago then this year ended up doing for dep gigs for the very same band
15. Sounds like I need to seek these out
16. http://resource.noiseguide.com/dc/res_933_trace_elliot_sm7eq_manual.pdf See here
17.
Have you tried a chocolate malted milk?!
I must confess I haven't. Is it good for metal?
18.
An Ashdown cab is preferred over a Barefaced...will Basschat ever recover from this...!! Good job I've got biscuits in....
I've recently rediscovered Malted Milks after a ~30 year break. I hope you have some of those in your selection....
19.
In the "other forum" there is Mediocre bassist club. Are we in danger of forming one here? Sadly I think I would be eligible for membership.
I'd sign up, definitely the right fit for me
20.
Is this the sealed or the ported version?
Looks like there are 2 ports below the top speaker
21.

Nice! Not a toroidal transformer, one of those other ones wot I've forgotten the name of
22.
Not sure how this has turned into a Class D debate. I would really, really love to do a blind hearing test on some of you lot....
Everything gets into a class d debate, or a BF vs the world debate, or an is it good for metal debate. There's no point living otherwise
23.
Ah... my entire contributon to this thread has been even more nonsense than usual. I thought we were taking about the TH500. Ha ha.
D'oh! It is Monday, we'll forgive you FWIW I have extolled the virtues of Ashdown's RM800 but will gladly admit that compared to an ABM the "old school" tech destroys it for that delightful "heft" The RM as such is back being my backup head for bigger gigs now rather than go-to.
