1. Good question! One Ashdown B string (I think!) Status Hotwire rounds 45 and 65 DR Hi Beams 45-125 set missing the E Roto Swing bass 45 and 65 Warwick Black label 45-135 set also missing the E So mostly lacking E :/
2.
A bit o' summat to practice on a t'ome, like.
Love that! The BTA is a beast - probably the best amp I've ever used but sooooo heavy!
3.
How loud do these get with an efficient 210 or 115? Enough for rehearsal with a loud rock band?
Yes, if you don't want a clean sound. I personally think it creates a glorious overdriven tone for a rock band, with PA support it's very gig worthy if that's the tone you require
4. In my clear out I have found an array of strings - all Stainless Steel round wounds in Rotosound, Status, Warwick and even Ashdown varieties. None make up a complete set so would be good for someone who just wants lots of random spares. I have gone to nickel strings thesedays so these won't be used by me. £20 posted to the UK for the random bundle
5. One of the best class D heads (IMHO!) - nice one
6. Cracking exposure for the brand there, nice one
7. Love Barts, haven't had a bass with them in for years now though! Hmmm.....
8. It's absolutely perfect, yes!
9. I concur. Just got another ABM (the third I've owned, haha, this time a 2002 EVO model) and plan on learning from two previous mistakes and never letting go again!
10. What amp are you using, the Aggie?
11.
So its all Discreet's fault then.
Certainly sounds like it!
12.
Yeah, it could be a supplied backline, but I would have thought someone of Tim's calibre would not accept any old backline?
Didn't he previously use Ampeg cabs? In which case it seems a fairly sensible choice
13. I had a Shark 5 for a while and it is one of the best 5 strings I have played. Super comfortable and light and the neck was amazing. This looks to be an absolute cracker at this price! GLWTS
14. Cracking
15. Bump for a top chap and because I ended up being a bit of a tyre kicker on this - sorry fella
16. Ashdown Retroglide??
17. Andy Travis has some, pop him a PM maybe
18. Yup these guys are top notch when it comes to service
19. Despite the two comments above the BF Four10 is worth putting on your list to consider. That being said it is definitely meant to have a more vintage vibe to it so it may not have the same clarity as the EBS and Vanderkley so may not actually be right for you. You can't tell unless you try it of course
20. Yup, one of my favourite class D heads ever
21.
Strange... I nearly posted keep the BF and send me the MNT's🤓
Haha! You can have the MNTs then, and Largo can buy something completely different
22. Keep the Vanderkleys and send me the One10s
