1. It's absolutely perfect, yes!
2. I concur. Just got another ABM (the third I've owned, haha, this time a 2002 EVO model) and plan on learning from two previous mistakes and never letting go again!
3. What amp are you using, the Aggie?
4.
So its all Discreet's fault then.
Certainly sounds like it!
5.
Yeah, it could be a supplied backline, but I would have thought someone of Tim's calibre would not accept any old backline?
Didn't he previously use Ampeg cabs? In which case it seems a fairly sensible choice
6. I had a Shark 5 for a while and it is one of the best 5 strings I have played. Super comfortable and light and the neck was amazing. This looks to be an absolute cracker at this price! GLWTS
7. Cracking
8. Bump for a top chap and because I ended up being a bit of a tyre kicker on this - sorry fella
9. Ashdown Retroglide??
10. Andy Travis has some, pop him a PM maybe
11. Yup these guys are top notch when it comes to service
12. Despite the two comments above the BF Four10 is worth putting on your list to consider. That being said it is definitely meant to have a more vintage vibe to it so it may not have the same clarity as the EBS and Vanderkley so may not actually be right for you. You can't tell unless you try it of course
13. Yup, one of my favourite class D heads ever
14.
Strange... I nearly posted keep the BF and send me the MNT's🤓
Haha! You can have the MNTs then, and Largo can buy something completely different
15. Keep the Vanderkleys and send me the One10s
16. Nice
17.
Bugger, I'm away next week, I'll miss the sale on Monday
Oi I had first dibs
18.
Nah, I'm not a 4X10 person. I am however an 8X10 person, but even I think that would be overkill for a country band. If I were going to play RAWK I'd either go for an Eight10 or possibly three Two10s. With an Ampeg SVT-CL. But the Two10 seems as if it will most likely be more than adequate for my current needs.
Damn. (See my post above )
19. Hartke LH series (not British!) Ashdown CTM series (British!)
20.
Interesting - did you tell them it would be an only cab, or that you wanted to stack it vertically? The logo usually (or used to be) parallel to the handle. I kinda like it your way
You can spec it that way - I will be doing the same when I place my order for one Edit - or I'll just buy Mark's when he decides to change it for a Four10
21. Great amp!
22. Plus two cabs always looks better than one haha
23.
Well at present it`s a diminutive Aguilar Tonehammer but the thought of an Ashdown ABM is rattling around in my head a fair bit.
That would be a pairing made in heaven methinks!
