    Sold Bought new earlier this year to replace a CTM100, I've been offered another CTM100 locally for a silly price and miss the extra headroom it provides. As discussed on Jay's Spyder 550 thread I can't justify both as I'm about to get married... With the right cab this is very giggable, especially if you like overdriven tones, and it's perfect for home and practices both in terms of output and portability. I have a 4mm padded RoqSolid cover with this and changed the standard black knobs to the cream chicken heads used on the 100 and 300 models. Will also supply with a Rock-Wire jack/jack speaker cable, spare knob and spare bulb for the VU meter. Ideally collection only (BR8 or RH6 postcode) for £300, add £25 for UK shipping as I'll have to get some decent packaging for it.

    TBH she sinks more money per month into a big four legged bitey kicky thing (she calls it a "horse"???) than I do in 6 months with my basses so maybe.... Will see what occurs over the next few weeks

    Yeah I think it can! It's a bit cleaner and brighter in its natural core tone, partly down to the preamp and partly down to the power amp (and power supply I suspect) but you can dial in the darker ABM-ness pretty easily. They are two of my favourite amps now

    Lovely guy, great player! I know he's recently played around with the Retroglide head too, wouldn't be surprised to see him using some form of 12-band head from them in the future especially since Trace seem to have disappeared again.

    Sub, Drive and Compressor was EVO III so it won't be an early one, it'll be some weird special run of some sort from a few years ago. I saw a black-panelled one with brushed aluminium knobs earlier this year, that was called a Klystron too IIRC.

    STP were one of the bands with whom I grew through my teenage years; I was lucky to see VR in 2004 and Scott was incredible. One of the best rock singers of his generation, as easily identifiable as Layne Stayley or Eddie Vedder. Will be listening to a lot of STP this weekend

    Bit of an urgent and frankly "unsellable" one this, need someone tomorrow night (Sat 5th Dec) if possible, in Merstham (South East Surrey). The gig isn't glamorous, there isn't very much money in it at all (£50) but it's dead easy standard pop/rock covers fare and the band are wicked fun. Load in around 6-7pm, first set 9pm and I expect a finish no later than midnight. Anyone around? Ta!
