1. I reckon there may be three there, white, black and wooden finish
 2. The 1x12 will be smaller, it's the same width as an ABM head if that helps
 3.
As the title says really... Trying to think of something better to do than standing about or swigging my beer. What do you do?
Drink beer Pull faces at the drummer/guitarist/singers Check out the ladies of the audience Tune up* Dance about badly *and sometimes I forget to unmute the bass when we get to the chorus 😳
 4. New 2015 products, Ashdown told me last week the website should be updated very soon. The little neo 112 looks ace
 5.
While i respect Ashdown. And i have nothing at all against there amps unlike others here. And i will try be as respect full as possible in my reply. I honestly still think 4 speakers 2 bass and 2 full range would of been more practical (probably would work better too), cheaper because you could of then used off the shelf speakers!. Less development time (2 years developing the speaker). I actually have said i like the idea but i think there are some flaws in my view. As for my comments about frequency i did say it does not paint the whole picture. I am willing to be proven wrong and learn on all my comments. I am just saying it as i see it which in this case is it could be cheaper and perform just as well if not better.
Cool beans 3 Look ma, I can count
 6.
This is true, I've not seen or heard the product. What I have seen is the marketing and the proposed price, which was all that was available, so as a business, if no customer has actually seen, used or heard the product, then you are relying on the marketing to promote it. As a prospective customer, who actually likes Ashdown amps and cabs, I am stating that at this price point it is not attractive to me. I was drawn to the product because of the concept but I cannot justify in my own mind spending that amount of money on something like this. You can have a go at me not understanding the the quality of the the technology or the effort you've put in to the development if you like but at the end of the day, I have the money in my pocket and you have to convince me to give it to you. I hope that, given the obviously huge investment you've made, that this is a success and I am more than prepared to be proved wrong. But again, as a prospective customer I am not tempted to seek one out to try and really this is what you want us to do. And for the record, there was never an intention for this to an Ashdown bashing thread; it was a discussion of whether the 'market' considered this product to be worth the retail price attached to it. Steve
Cool beans 2, tho my comments weren't really aimed at you
 7.
for clarity i was just posting mine about 20 secs after merton posted this
Cool beans
 8. It's a real shame Ashdown have to come on here defending themselves like this, especially from ignorant comments about frequency response. They are a British success in a worldwide market, I understand people may not "get" the product but it seems to have turned into an unnecessary flaming a la the Barefaced threads. Let's leave this one be shall we
 9.
Agghh, no! Hnngg! Must... resist..!
I'm sure there's a phrase ... Something about, er, futile?
 10. £650 collected or I'll courier within mainland UK at my expense
 11.
Does this count as a (tiny) one man band??? Hahaha... My 3 year old son really wanted to have a picture taken with the new cab
Haha awesome!
 12. Yeah looking forward to hearing your thoughts after gigging it
 13. Great bass and great tone examples! Love the RFB pickup and the sheer variety you can get from that alone. NIce one dude
 14. Ashdown BTA200, 2x Barefaced Super Compact cabs and my Status Retroactive bass, with DR Sunbeams. Thankfully what I'm currently using
 15. Glad you like I love mine still, just have to sell because too any amps in the house = unhappy girlfriend

 17.
This is Rock n Roll. Because you can is the best reason yet invented.
sh*t, didn't think of that
 18.
NOt at all: There are masses of examples out there of solutions without a problem.
For example, Eden's new amp heads. They have illuminated speaker output sockets. Why, I am still trying to fathom.
 19.
The EVO IV range is being announced at NAMM, as is the new Tone Man range which I think is going to be similar to the new-ish Rootmaster products but with possibly more features or a different EQ.
Where is info on this Tone Man range of which you speak? Seen all the other bits (in fact have preordered the RM800!) but not seen the Tone Man stuff. Colour me intrigued...
 20. I think they will have some fairly soon. They certainly expect the Rootmaster 800 head to be ready mid Feb, and this uses the same power section
 21. Gediminas bought an Ashdown head from me, he was an absolute gent to deal with, brilliant!
