1. I think it'll be fine, there's a chap in the US (I think) who gigs a CTM15 with a 6x10, but I guess his band is quite quiet It'll prob have some nice grit from the power section but that's half the fun
2. With the right cab this is a very giggable amp, I absolutely love mine
3. The CTM100 is immense. Buy one ;-)
4. Superb bass and a superb price! And a superb chap too
5. I'd look at the Dr Bass cab here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/249068-for-sale-dr-bass-1580-cab-l225-crate-2x10-cab-l75-ashdown-mag-amp-l120/
6.
But - you may find that your amp might not partner so well with some of the above manufacturers. The RH450 was extremely popular among BC members a few years ago, but a lot of users subsequently sold their amps on as they weren't happy with the sound they produced. It's a minefield!
Yup, I'd consider a GK head, maybe the MB Fusion as (IMO) it's the dogs danglies of lightwight amps
7.
Audiokinesis Thunderchild 112 Acoustic-Friendly, homemade 500 watt amp. I love the fact you use your own designed and built gear. Must check out your amp thread over on TB
8. A Barefaced with a tweeter, or their new Super Compact which is a 1x12. I have two of those and they are fantastic cabs Also depends on budget of course, there are other lightwight cabs available Whereabouts are you based? There's bound to be someone with something you could try out living relatively close by.
9. They're not a big company and as has been said they are at Bass Player Live in LA. Give it til Tuesday then phone them
10. Bit late but this is what we did on Saturday.... http://m.youtube.com/watch?list=UUNJQfoZhBdftqhpIHYpbdvQ&v=25m1n-MXUqs&feature=youtu.be We were the house band for the rocky Horror bits then did a set at the end. Bit weird as half the band was one side of the stage and the other half about three miles away on the other, that that's the way they wanted it for the Rocky Horror bit for obvious reasons.
11. Great cab, great price, great guy to deal with!
12. Gorgeous bass, and a cracking price! If it was a 33" scale I'd be in a lot of trouble. GLWTS
13. Paul took a bass hard case off my hands, he arranged UPS collection and was superb throughout. He even arranged a little donation to the BHF instead of paying me anything for the case. Top notch!
14. PM'd - my band will take it. We're in Brighton on Sat so hopefully can arrange collection
15. Anything more than £100 is too much. Generally I'd expect £60-£80
16. Good man thanks! PS someone should buy this amp, it's the dogs dangly bits
17. Sorry for the thread hijack, can you link me to a place to buy these TAD valves, sounds like some experimentation is in order!
18. Great amp, great price Out of interest what effect did the change in output valves have?
19. 10 years ago Newton Faulkner used to open for my covers band at the local pubs. We bumped into each other this year at a little festival and he had the good grace to pretend he remembered me ;-)
20. If you ever want to sell that Electro.......
