1.
Will do sir, though I'd imagine it'll look similar to their other cabs!
Hahaha
2. For me... Barefaced Super Compact. Everything I've wanted in a cab
3.
There are none in the wild yet... Yours truelly is due to receive the first one some time this month...
Oooooh. Photos as soon as she lands please!
4. The Ashdown CTM100 is the way forward. Cracking amp.
5. £400 shipped to the UK with the Hiscox. Bloomin bargain
6.
Can only speak regarding the CTM-100 but that should be certainly loud enough
I concur, I run one through one or two Barefaced Super Compacts and it's immense. Best amp I've used
7. £400 with Hiscox liteflight case (down from £420) plus courier
8. Lovely bass and an insane price!
9.
Any difference in the "growl potential"? Thinking of getting an MB500 or a fusion and looking for as much of the Growl as I can muster! Thinking possibly the MB500 as that crispness and tightness in the lows may be beneficial for lower faster player etc. A friend of mine has the MB500 and plays a warwick thumb through it and boy does it sound awesome!
The MB Fusion has no problem with crispness or tightness in the lows, I'd always plump for that over the MB500 as I think it offer more tonal options and of course valvey goodness. And yes I have gigged both
10. Get the Fusion, cracking amp
11. Yeah some really minor marks, that's the only wear on this bass - I've tried to capture that in the photo second from bottom.
12. Bump for photos:
13. Bump, sensible offers will be considered
14. FS: the last ever "real" Status Groove Built by Rob Green around 2002 out of spare bits left from production which had finished a few years previously. This is a lined fretless, maple neck, alder body and probably a rosewood board. Active/passive switch, volume and bass and treble controls. Trimax pickup which is essentially 3 Js together, the outer two acting as the PUp and the inner a reverse-wired coil to cancel him. The most powerful pickup I've ever used I think! Midnight Wine finish, black pickguard Absolutely immaculate condition save for a bit of string wear on the board. Supplied with either a gig bag or a Hiscox liteflight case, depending on which of this and the Shark goes first and what each buyer wants. Price includes the gigbag, add £45 for the Hiscox. Shipping is extra. £375.00 to reflect its condition, place in Status history and sentimental value to me. Photos to follow ASAP!
15. It's pristine, the last ever "real" Groove (with a wooden neck as opposed to the 3 they made afterwards with modded graphite necks), and is utterly utterly glorious. I always said I'd never sell it but, well, the lure of a custom ACG has just been too much to withstand! So, how do you want to pay....?
16. Sadly for you I'm selling to find my ACG gas again. Strictly speaking not out of the woods with the solicitors (which were why I sold the last ACG) but frankly I have an itch which needs to be scratched NOW... Bollocks to the consequences haha
17. Yeah I sold it then it came back and now I'm selling again! Groove fretless will appear later this eve too...
18. Absolutely cracking bass, and a steal at that price. GLWTS
19. No prob, any time! (Assuming I'm not gigging myself, haha!)
