1. Well the 500 is bloody good and I have only ever hit the limiter once with it, so I imagine the 800 is immense Not much help I know, sorry

Ooooh, pretty! You can tell me all about it on Sunday
3. Lovely! Too many little knobs and electronics for me but otherwise that would be on my list as dsomething to buy
4. I'm with Muzz too. You're looking at what, £200+ for the speakers so find a decent 2nd hand cab instead
5. Ooooh I'm getting all excited
6. No love for these magical (sorry.....) pickups?
7. Bump for pictures
8. FOR SALE Pics to follow, sorry for being slow! Gallien Krueger MB Fusion 500W at 4 ohms Kind of a 2-channel valve preamp (well a normal and an overdrive channle I guess!) Class D power section 2x combi speakon/jack sockets Effects loop Pre/Post DI £435 shipped to the UK Complete with manual, footswitch and connecting lead I've owned since new and had no issues at all, cracking amp but just fancy a change, especially as this will be my second amp behind my Ashdown CTM100 now....
9. Bump, price drop to £100 shipped to the UK
10. For sale to cover some pending and rather unwelcome solicitors fees. Bought in 2008 for a project which has since stalled, if/when we get it up and running I will look at a new option. With Andy no longer in business these are pretty rare I guess now, as they are brand new unused. They are the standard 5 string 84s but weigh an extra screening wire which we wanted to allow series/parallel switching. Whether you use it or not is up to you! £100 posted to the UK mainland. Ask for quotes further afield.
11. Serious amp gas. Oh dear!
12.
Thanks for all the suggestions so far...merton ive heard the iphone rig is no so good for bass, do you suggest otherwise?
Seems to work fine for me
13. Why not look at the GK app (assuming you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad) and an iRig interface? Does a brilliant job for me. MIght even be available on Android phone, no idea!!
14.
I have my ticket for Sunday, so see the rest of you there. Just checked and I have my lanyard so stop me and say Hi.
We've just switched to the Sunday after all that, so will see you there Dave
15. Just bought a ticket for myself, and two lovely bassy friends, so will see some of you there on Sat 1st
16. Don't change the speakers, waste of time and effort and you may end up worse off. Unless you can accurately model their behaviour in that enclosure and are confident of course....? Sell the combo, but a head and another 15, honestly it makes sense
17. Flog the combo, buy the equivalent head (WT550? Cracking amp, my favourite solid state head ever!) and buy a second 1x15 cab too
18. Yes: http://merton.bitd.co.uk/basses/2014lineup.jpg
