If you look up lil jim's big squeeze on facebook, we're releasing cheatin n creepin on Sunday and it's available for download free for a week I think, I used it on that. I don't have a set up at home that let's me record amps though so it's only releases that I use my Gks on.
Cheers bud!
2. We should swap, I'd prefer the narrower form factor Ashdown makes sense, bet the whole thing sounds immense.
3.
Just scored the MB Fusion in the Amps for sale forum! Happy days! (Sorry Merton)
Nah, it's a good thing, I've got 2 great amps and I'd get murdered if I bought this! Let us know how you get along with it though
4.
Move out out of the way everyone, this is mine!
Thanks, you saved me from an expensive story to the missus
5. Oh the temptation. Stop it!
6.
I just fiddle around in the key.
Ditto
7.
This was delivered to me this morning from musicman5 on the Statii forum, top bloke to deal with, thanks Jason she's a beauty.
lovely! Is she coming to the SE Bash?
8. PS, that Ashdown cab... Is it a custom?
9.
What's the difference between that and the Vintage? It looks like a 210 shoved down there!
I think the tuning and voicing is slightly different (and the Vintage has ports along the bottom rather than up the side) but I doubt there's a huge difference. Would be interesting the hear...
10.
Well you guys have the 200 and 500 covered, I'll complete the collection with the fusion. Love it! Loads of tonal options and it breaks up nicely. It has plenty of power with the neo 212s I use.
Do you have any soundclips of it? Part if me still tempted to swap the Eden and MB200 for the MB Fusion..... I'd probably miss my Eden a lot though, it is awesome and by far the best amp I've used
11. Hell yes. The MB200 made me consider selling the Eden for an MB500 or an MBFusion but for now i'm liking the sonic differences. The 800 will be a (tiny!) beast
12. I have an MB200. It's great! However recently I've found it does (contrary to previous statements I've made) rather run out of puff on LOUD gigs so you lose any real balls to your sound. But it has held its own on a fair few occasions and is great for a rehearsal amp and a backup coz it's so bloody small! I do prefer my Eden WT550 tonally though, mainly due to headroom I suspect.
13. Great amp and great price
14. Will be fine 3 threads for same question tho?
15. What are the cab specs? Not really paid any attention to these things yet...
16. Re the OP set up, that sounds small compared to our rig so I gotta say 3 hours is a lot! We can do one hour at a push but like and hour and a half: Powered Mackie tops and bins Full lighting rig including truss with star cloth and 8 various lights, plus 2 other stands of lights, all DMX'd 3 vox 2 guitars, one mic'd one DI'd Bass DI'd Drums all individually mic'd plus an overhead 3 separate monitor mixes Thing is we all know certain parts of the set up so just get in with our bit whilst mercilessly ripping the piss out if each other
17. Love my "A" rig - Eden WT550 into BFB Vintage. Still have amp and cab GAS for rig "B" tho. Currently a GK MB200 and homebrew cab but thinking of adding an Eden cab for that since I can't afford the Midget I really want
18.
Yes I can see the wood could chip easily, so think this could do with a cover if I keep it. It will only be me carrying it and I tend to be very careful with gear but you never know.
Mine tends to get moved about by our crew and they have a rep for breaking EVERYTHING. The Vintage has survived fine tho
19.
i saw it on e bay a week ago ................ and nobody seemed to go for it .......................... for the £250 suggeted its a reasonable price but prob not higher ...................... but i too am a big fan of the eden gear ......................... good luck!!!!
Gotta say I've been tempted by your 2x12 as well John. Hmmm...
20. My Vintage looks great still, the Roqsolid cover has done a great job. The cover is showing signs of wear mind you, but that's what it's for!!
21. An Eden WT550 To be honest this'll be the b rig anyway, the main cab will always be the Barefacedbass Vintage Will see how the auction goes...
22. Wrong forum? Welcome back btw
23.
So last night I picked up a used Super 12 T courtesy of a fellow Basschatter. Having not seen one in the flesh (so to speak) I wasn't sure what to expect, but initial signs are good. Visually has a certain charm about it. Love the weight. Reminds me a little of my old Tecamp 212S in weight and size, although a step-up soundwise from that particular cab. Looking forward to gigging it over the next few weeks. If a stayer, I may have to re-visit some previously owned amps to try with it (here we go again!). Does anyone own a fitted cover for one of these, and if so, where from?
Hope you like! Roqsolid is definitely the place for covers
24. Lovely sounding cab, not as heavy as I'd feared but think the size is a bit too big for my "small" requirements Will see how it goes...
25. Perfect sense! I'm glad I asked, I've been hit for this before thinking "Oh, I'll easily sell it for that later" only to lose out massively. The general wisdom of BC has helped, cheers!
