Yep I start with all flat. Shape In or Out depends on what I'm playing and who with. Quiet home practice etc it tends to be in, but as I get louder and need to cut through the mix more I take it out. A little bit of drive and compression, crank to ear-bleeding level, grin from ear to ear.

This. if you like the sound with one speaker, get a second identical speaker and it’ll be more of the same great sound. Adding different sized drivers into the mix can be quite unpredictable.

Here’s my RM800 EVO, atop a Barefaced One10. This was December, it actually made it out of the house for four shows over a weekend. Great amp, one of 3 Ashdown heads I own. @Reggaebass and I clearly have similar taste because one of my other heads is a Little Bastard

The passive input is higher impedance than the active, whilst there’s also a -20dB reduction in gain on the active input. I never use the active input on any of my amps!

My company has two Polish factories, and they’ve had at least one day’s national holiday this week. They often then bridge that to the weekend (because they never, ever fall on a Monday like here!) - you may find that they’re just a bit thin in the ground and will be up to full staff compliment and speed again next week. Fingers crossed for a good resolution

Eden were screwed over by US Music Group in the early 2000s (who also had Washburn amongst others) - it has been Marshall who's brought them back from the brink and introduced new lines. IIRC US Music did to Eden similar to what Gibson had done to Trace, i.e. buy cheaper components and outsource manufacture so quality dipped. Add that to no new product launches for years... WRT to Korg/Aguilar, I can see potential for a catastrophe or a shrewd win for both parties.. Hopefully the latter if, as has been mentioned already, Korg use their muscle to get Aguilar in more places than they already are and use their far bigger financial clout to support them through these tough times.

That's a shame, I was about to buy a new one - I have the older design with only a front opening. The dual front/rear openings to allow the amp to stay in the bag is a much better idea!

The bag is well worth it, I dropped my RM800 out of a car last year and it landed on its corner. The bag has a hole in it now where the chassis pierced it but that was it. Amp is absolutely fine

It’ll be less hifi than either of those. It’s a great cab and for reggae would be perfect as it’ll take all the bass she can throw at it. I was hoping to buy the cab yesterday but have had to hold fire for various reasons so I’d say go for it!

I only have 2 transformers in mine too. Could it be an additional transformer for converting to 110V for USA perhaps, so they don't have to change the main PSU transformer?
