That’s exactly what I did with the RM800. Sold the first one when money was tight, eventually came back to the RM500 but then swapped it out for an 800 because I prefer the power section. Volume-wise there’s not a lot in it but it just kicks better IMO and feels more like a class AB which is why I love it so much.
I am! The music playback isn’t half bad at all, the bass works great, the recording function is dead easy and works perfectly latency-free. Very happy with it for the price. Not sure the wife is as happy with me making noises though....
