  1. Ooooh
  2. Oh my 😍
  3. Didn’t I see a comment on Facebook firing you because of the Strandberg? 🤣
  4. Here’s the new RM800 EVO II, it looks badass: https://ashdownmusic.com/collections/heads/products/rm-800-evo-ii-head
  5. Oh yes. Stacking horizontally definitely means you need two of the cabs!
  6. PS - if you lay the SC horizontally rather than vertically the CTM100 fits fine
  7. Not at all. It’s a bloody wonderful head and I gigged one with a single SC very successfully. Sounded superb, but not as superb as a CTM100 with Barefaced 4x10 Since the OP mentioned class D heads I’d be inclined to check out the Ashdown RM800 EVO II which has just been released (the 500 is available to try in shops, the 800 is just a bit more of the same loveliness IMO).
  8. See here
  9. Can’t believe I’ve not shown this beauty on here before. It’s lush.
  10. Feline every day of the week for me. I know Liam via his dad (one Mr Phil Mulford of this parish) and Jonathan is a man of considerable knowledge and talent too. They did a cracking job on one of my ACGs last year and will be my go-to local guys now.
  11. Pure filth. In a good way. This is just stupendously wonderful.
  12. Classy. Love it
  13. @Kev used a DG head and a pair of One10s very successfully I do believe I’d echo @Al Krow’s comment that a pair would definitely be a good idea. One is great, two is betterer
  14. First concert - Terrorvision, Brixton Academy, 1995 Last concert - Monster Truck, Guildford Boilerooms, 2019 Best concert - either Def Leppard at Brixton Academy in 2003 or Skunk Anansie, same venue 2012 Worst concert - Mansun, Worthing Dome (?), 1998/9 Loudest concert - Living Colour, Highbury Garage, 2003 Seen the most - Def Leppard, closely followed by Skunk Anansie, Terrorvision and James Taylor Quartet Most surprising - Panic! at The Disco - took my son last year, they were an incredible live band Next concert - Steel Panther, on Friday Wish I would have seen - Pearl Jam in the early 90s, Rush, edit to add Aaron Buchanan and the Cult Classics too
  15. Bass is now back with its rightful owner Robbie’s a top chap and it was a pleasure helping out and having a natter over a cuppa in Brighton
  16. Not yet, though I fear a custom pedal may open the floodgates again... we’ll see 😳
  17. Great pedal, great price, great guy to deal with. Winning
  18. I’ve just emailed COG about a custom pedal I kinda need*. Depending on their response I may be out 😂 * need might be pushing it. Want, definitely.
  19. Sounds all too familiar - sorry you’ve had to go through it A couple of years back I auditioned for a band, lost out because I was too far away vs the other bassist; I was asked to be a dep and promptly given a dep gig a few months away. He then became very unreliable due to family/health issues so I got asked to take over. Sure, no issue. Dep gig still a month off. Suddenly two weeks before the gig there’s a Facebook announcement about a gig the night after the one I’m doing, where they’ll be unveiling their new bassist. I then get an email with the set list and told “btw our new bassist will be in the crowd to watch and get tips”. So I politely emailed and said it’s probably better for him to just do the gig if he’s there (“he can use it as a warm up for the real unveiling” were the words I used) and removed them from my contacts. Musicians as a breed are often w4nk3r5s. Bassists are of course the exception to the rule.
  20. That’s the ticket!
  21. Hopefully you mean 3000mA; 3mA won’t get you very far!
  22. Lovely stuff
  23. SOLD Hello everyone! I love this cab, it’s really very good. But my current musical projects suit the Barefaced X10 cabinets better so I now have a pair of One10s and a Four10 for when I need to destroy walls, which makes this surplus to requirements. If I could justify keeping it I would but I don’t really have the space and could do with the money to cover a car service. Bought new from the Bass Gallery in 2018, gigged about 10 times (if that) since, it’s in fine fettle. No cover I’m afraid, and no box to be able to ship either so collection only from me (Horley, Surrey, near Gatwick airport) or we can find a mutually convenient location to do a dodgy BC deal in a car park 🤓
