  1. Got a Little Bastard which is essentially the same amp in teenage clothes. It’s bloody wonderful, perfect for home use but can also do gigs if you have sensitive enough cabs, are going through the PA and like it dirty
  2. Loving the CTM and dual Compact rig! If I had the space I think that it is mighty close to my dream rig, though maybe I’d go for two Super Compacts instead coz they are my favouritest of all cabs ever. Glad it’s working out
  3. Not saying it’s a bad thing, just saying I’m led to believe that’s what has occurred
  4. From what I’ve been told from others within the industry. As far as I understand it Marcus Miller is basically on a wage with them. Glad to be proven wrong if my information is dodgy
  5. Before the driver change was the VS cab the same as the LB one or is there a difference between them?
  6. I’m waiting for an opportunity to run a rig with both my One10s and my SC, I’ll run the SC clean and the One10 stack overdriven. It’ll be ace. Completely different to the aims of this thread but fun nonetheless 😎
  7. I’ve used an SC+One10 combination and it sounds really very good IMO. So long as you’re sensible with the power being fed the One10 rounds off the SCs harsher mids. The one thing I would say is that one time I did this it was without PA support so moving extra air was just the right thing to do but I actually don’t know how it transposed itself out into the room. Where I was standing sounded fine though
  8. You need to edit the original post title
  9. Just found a video (see below) from Namm 19 which suggests there IS a difference and a new line of Fusion heads will be released later this year. Which realistically means 2020 for us I guess Dangerous. Loved the demo video of the Legacy but wonder if I’d prefer the FusionS. I certainly preferred the MB Fusion over the MB500. Eek. Trouble this way comes.
  10. Very much yes. This is my latest 32” 5 string and the B is probably better than any I’ve had before
  11. Haha! I once asked a family friend if my band could play their Christmas party. She replied “well, we had the Black Eyed Peas last year...”. Fun times Scouting For Girls were playing a local festival here in Surrey on Friday, during all that torrential rain. Hope he made it home ok
  12. D’oh. I’m gonna edit that 😳🤓
  13. Free delivery to mainland UK now
  14. Is that the one Mark Gooday/Ashdown were selling? V cool
  15. I’ve said it before but... hot damn that is one sexy bass. The fingerboard is nuts!
  16. I love the RM preamp, the drive is sublime and the 5 band EQ is dead easy to get any tone with. Great heads
  17. Bloody awesome - thrilled for you to have had that experience (and very jealous!)
  18. Yup that Stu Hamm head is the best of the bunch. Agree with Eude on the rest of it!
  19. I am led to believe from a reliable source that the support Mark didn’t receive from TC to sort a rig for him out in Quebec whizzed him off so he decided to switch on the flight home. MarkBass are definitely one of the “we’ll pay you to use our gear” crowd so it makes business sense I guess.
  20. I get this in my day job too. Send a quote, customer immediately replies with “is it stainless steel as requested?” Yes, as per the first line in the quote spec. flipping read!!
  21. Steve Harris. Unmistakeable tone which has barely changed over the years thanks to his unique style and his unique strings. You always know it’s him Honorary second place for Duff McKagen again due to a tone which has barely changed throughout his various bands and records.
  22. Yep there’s a build thread here: And of course, if it had been the other sort of saucy blonde then yes, much trouble!
