Sooo close now! Unfortunately one of the pickups is dead so just sorting out fixing that with Nordstrand, then it’s pretty much final neck carve and finishing I think

Neck carve about to start. Btw the neck is sitting in its cavity in the body there and there’s no glue whatsoever. Tight as a cats derrière that fit, glorious!

You’re spot on and it’s not the only time they’ve been a bit “crazy” 🤔 The BFC cab they released at the end of the 90s was sold as “Bass Frequency Cab” but they actually wanted to call it the “Big F*%king Cab”

Ashdown ABM600 or RM500/800 should the ABM still be too heavy. Cab wise - loads of choices. I use Barefaced but Ashdown have a lightweight range with the RM cabs, then there’s Vanderkley, Bergantino, Markbass, etc etc You’re spoilt for choice really! -
I think 31.5 to 33” is fair cop for medium scale?

Speak to @Ashdown Engineering about both - they’ll certainly be able to help about the hum and can advise on the rack mount possibility. IIRC you can’t rackmount these but I may be (and would be happy to be!) wrong
