  1. Sime17. I can hardly believe what I'm reading. I wont use this medium to discuss the ups and downs of being Welsh. However, I think its important that other forum members are fully aware that not all us Welsh people have such an inferiority complex and negative view of our wonderful country and language. 2. Ive got a std t/s with a repaired section above neck joint. Great nick and cant see the join:-)
  3. Im gonna bump this. I bought one of these on here a while back. Having been through quite a few set ups this one is amazing. Superb as a combo, add a cab for unbelievable volume and tone. Very very high quality. Grab a bargain!!!! Bump
  4. In my experience you can have the best amp in the world but if you aint got enough cab for it to push then your faffed. Ive been through the small and light phase and am now happily entrenched in the 'big cab - big sound' world with all its pitfalls. To answer the question I would argue that in order to get a big phat bass sound, you need a cab to match!! Its all balance really I vote Cab!!

  17. Oh sorry, did that come out lol Lemmy did it for me, its his image that made me persevere with big noises and not be tempted by the slutty guitar.. He aint the best by far but feck he's cool
  18. Hi folks, Just thought id do a quick post. Whilst ive been on what seems like an everlasting and expensive journey searching for the ultimate bass distortion pedal via mainstream and boutique makers. Ive never really found the MASSIVE sound i was seeking. Ive never seen a posting about this little baby but its very cheap in comparision to the boutique pedals out there. The sound range is extremely broad and the levels of distortion achieveable are also huge. It has a beautiful BASS control which ensures socks off bottom end. Oh and its red so you wont lose it...... try it..its very very surprising Boss Mega Distortion - MD2 Its chuffin great !!!!!!
  19. I keep coming back to this... Lovely bass, no dosh though so have a bump.
  20. Ive had the pleasure of playing this bass. Fabulous springs to mind. The looks, sounds and playabilty are top notch. Cool cool bass ! Good luck with the sale Dan
  21. Perhaps you should keep it and offer sessions on it. £100 a day in local rehearsal studio or fully insured rental. Id hire it for some studio work. A few issues to look into but if Nick Mason can rent out £2000000 Ferraris it surely must be viable.
  22. Shame they dont do Bass Mortgages
