3. Yes. It seems part of the chassis overhang is in the way so to change 2 of the 3 valves would mean taking the PCB out?

5. Looking at that pic, there is only access to one valve! How do you go about changing/swapping?
6. Do such things as a lower profile P bass bridge covers exist? My PB70 has the chrome pup and bridge cover but recently ive noticed the original vintage ones seem to be much lower profile. My pup cover is fine but my bridge cover (genuine Fender) seems to protrude quite a bit above the bridge. Ideally id like something with much less height but as this is a genuine fender one (reissue obviously) is there anything else out there bar a genuine vintage one?

Pete bought a B Flatwound off me in an effortlessly smooth transaction. No worries here
8. Strung on a P bass for all of 5mins but completely uncut so plenty of winds and will fit any 4 string bass. Nice tone but a little TOO Low tension for me (definitely not wet noodle TI’s tho) Come in original pack and price includes UK postage
9. Chris bought some flats off me in an effortlessly smooth transaction. Nae danger here
10. Ian bought some flats off me in an effortlessly smooth transaction. Nae danger here
11. Got one of these spare as when I ordered a 4 string set they accidently sent me a 5er. Unused and still in original packet £5 delivered in UK
12. Ive got 3 x unopened sets of NOS Picato Flatwounds in original packs for sale.

Long Scale
45-105
Picato seemingly changed their formula a few years ago but these are the originals. You can no longer get the 45-105 gauge that these NOS ones are, they added silk at both ends (these are completely unsilked) and they now seem a bit more modern sounding (these are proper old school dark thumpers). I have kept these in a sealed food bag with a pouch of silica gel in since I got them around 6mths ago so should be in good nick and ready to thump away. Looking for £15 per set and that will include delivery in UK. If someone wants all three then I’m sure we could do a deal
13. Hmmmmm, tempted for a mini rig. Would an SVT blow this up tho?
14. You know which model/size this is?
15. Ive been chasing a reasonable live interpretation of the Chelsea Dagger bass sound recently. Its not so much distortion/fuzz but a valvey trebley clank. I use a valve amp and P bass and get closest by kicking in my LPB-1 and pushing my valves into breakup but its still not quite clankey enough. Im wondering if swapping my LPB-1 for a treble booster or the treble version of the LPB-1 – The Screaming Bird? I don’t want the sound to go thin and weedy but im thinking this may give me the more trebly valve clank I desire. Anyone here use one and able to comment?
