1. Your local to me! The best guy near-ish to us is Jack Ellis, the mans a magician as well as his new employee Kieron (he just set up my Fender P). He has just moved workshops to Cheetham Hill, not too far from Victoria Station. Highly recommended
2. If you were closer and my Ashdown 414t was sold id have this. I know this doesnt help in anyway but at least its a free bump
3. Would consider trades for a fender original p bass pup
4. Forgot to add. I will chuck in a Marshall (i think) power supply with this
5. Richard came to my rescue with a spare 12ax7 he had. Pretty much just charged my for P&P. Proper gent who is another name on the "BCer's i owe a pint to"
6. I thought the T115 was exactly the same but just renamed for Thomann?
7. You know the things - Bright orange, tank-like build, LED's that can be seen from space.....one of these badboys:- http://www.ashdownmu...tail.asp?ID=262 Well, ive decided to simplify everything. No pedals, just a bass, one lead, a head and a cab. Got me one of those cip-on tuners for live shows. As such this has to go (its final duty to fund my ampeg gas!). Its in great condition with no chips, dings, scrapes or scratches. Does have a strip of sticky-backed velcro on the base that im sure can be peeled away if needed. Dosent have a box or manual (not that you'd need a manual - its one button to turn it on/off (true bypass) but will be packed well Id like £40 for it and will include shipping to uk for this. Can of course meet up anywhere in Bolton/Manchester too as always.
8.
I'm really jealous - this was the exact rig I was about to buy when my car got wrote off =[
Cheers, is a lovely rig but every year i get bitten by the ampeg GAS bug, this year ive decided to fianlly go for it, hence the ashdown rig is now all up for sale
9. Hi, As youve probably seen by my for sale ads im looking to get myself a new Ampeg set up. Im intrested in both these heads but the only thing putting me off are the reviews and particular notes to its power. I play in a 5 peice rock band and certainly need power against their Engl and MArshall stacks. The last amp i had that really cut the mustard (i shoulda kept) was the Hartke HA5500 (500w). Ive not used the Ashdown in this band as we have our own studion with a live in 810 Marshall cab and a peavey head. The reviews for the 450 ive read all comment on the lack of volume, some even saying they believed it was only putting about 200w at through a 4ohm cab! My plan (whichever head i get) would be to hook it up through a 410 HLF cab. I know theres a 450h for sale in the forum at the mo but im just wondering i any users on here can comment on the volume of these things and if anyone else finds them 'lacking'
10. Will measure to confirm tonight but the store i got it from says on the website:- Length: 125-144 cm / 49"-57" (adjustable)

12. Sorry pal, this is long gone. Ill update the ad
13. I recieved the cover on this last night....Roqsolid sent the wrong one! It appears to be for a cab or combo. Anyway, im returning the cover for a replacement so should be here soon to go with the head. Im still willing to deliver within reason. Any offers?
14. Pending the outcome of some negotatiating on an ampeg head i thought id stick this up to see if there'd be any interest. Still have original box and paperwork and brand new roqsolid cover. One slight nick in the tolex at the from but barely noticable. Has never been gigged and just used in small rehearsal room so never driven hard. Has a nice valve grind to the sound when the gain is turned up and fells solid enough. There are reviews on youtube of its bigger broher (550 spyder) by Ashdown themselves and our own Walbassist. Given the condition and roqsolid cover id ideally be looking at around £250 for this (believe they retails at circa £350). Will post pics if there is any interest at this price. Collection would be from Bolton or i could deliver within reasonable distance. Thanks, Paul
15. Yup, played a CTM and was in love although really underwhelmed by the CL cabs, it sounded miles better throught the ABM 610 to me. If i could id have one tomorrow and pair it with either the ABM 610 or the 810
16. That ex demo BTA300 is the one i have my eye on. Have looked at the Peavey but my only experience with EL34's was the sound city 120 and it just didnt cut it. The Traynor could well be worth a look tho
