I think if there was a serial number, it was on a small sticker, the traces of which are still behind the neck. Why would anyone...?

Still no results so posting again. Can anyone tell me anything regarding the history of this particular machine? Other than that it is a Hohner Professional Series HGV-B offset flying V, Brass hardware and built like a tank. Someone has had the frets out but no other visible mods. Hohner's own resource https://www.hohner.de/fileadmin/documents/service/guitars/Gitarren_Hohner-HistoricalModels.pdf shows no info at all. Was this a prototype, a short-run or was it pulled off saale? Why would it not appear in the archive, nor anywhere on the web, so far as I can find. Any hive-mind help, please?
