2. Firstly, Ashdown's specs: http://ashdownmusic....30/ABM-210-NEO/ I cannot understand why they they stopped making this range of cabs. Mine was the last one that PMT had in stock, bought earlier this year, and it is a terrific bass cab. According to the specs it weighs in at 20kg but feels lighter because it has recessed handle on the top so is easy to cart around. There's a Hot Covers padded cover included in the sale. It does have a horn without any means to attenuate but it is a smooth top end that you get and you can dial out what you don't want. Other than that it is very very punchy and detailed. Never been gigged. There are one or two blemishes but overall it it is in fine condition and a decent saving on what they were new (c.£550). My price includes p&p or I am willing to meet within 30 miles of M5 j23. 4. I bought this two weeks ago from fellow Basschatter Interpol52 and I have his permission to link to his ad here: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 I bought specifically to add top end to a new setup that was rather on the dark side. Almost simultaneously I traded amps and ended up with a Tecamp Puma which has totally cured the original 'problem', hence the sale. Price includes Special Delivery by the way.
5. I'm delighted to open the batting on this. Met Lewis for an amp trade and had a 10 minute chat about all things bass. A great guy to deal with and very knowledgeable as well. I hope to meet him again at some stage.
6. I just bought a pedal from Julian and it was with me the very next morning, brilliantly packaged and immaculate as described. He also kept me updated which was great. Trade with absolute confidence...
7. I sold Rich a cab. We did the transaction through PM and text without ever actually speaking but I would recommend any deal with him as a result of my experience as a seller in this instance.
8. Now gone...
9. Price drop to £400 delivered.
10. My preference is for a cab with a tweeter for some top end zing. The one fitted to this cab is very smooth, even at full throttle.
11. This is cringeworthy: https://youtu.be/-FA73eliAUU
12. I asked the mods to re-open this. I have purchased an Ashdown amp on a campaign to buy British and I need to part with this in order to do the same with a cab.
13. Can't part with this cab. Please lock.
14. I'll throw in the (homemade) Gramma pad by all means, although it would have to travel as a separate parcel.
15. Bump, with link to specs of the current version which gives you an idea what this cab is capable of. Dimensions, weight and displacement will be different: http://www.bassgear.co.uk/product/tks-engineering-h115/ N.B. add £75 for a tweeter and £50 for the padded cover.
16. If ever there was a contender for 'one cab does all', then this surely has to be up there. Mine is 16 months old and is the original version but with an added tweeter which I had fitted before it left the factory. It measures a little under 30" high x little over 20" wide x 15.5" deep and weighs a very manageable 17kg. Unmarked as far as I can tell from close inspection. I have a homemade Gramma pad that the cab sits on and this raises the cab up to nearly waist height which is an ideal height for stage monitoring in my opinion. I have gigged with it twice during my ownership although I use it at band get togethers every three weeks or so. It will do everything from tight funk to classic rock and I have driven it with a Tone Hammer 500 and a Tecamp Puma 500 with equally great results. This cab will kick you in the back if you crank it. Comes with a fabulous padded cover. If you bought one of these cabs new it would cost over £600 by the time you added a tweeter and padded cover. I still have the original box, so p&p is included to mainland UK address. Would also meet within 30 miles of M5 j23 Sorry no trades at this time. 17. Sold a Tecamp head to Simon. As straightforward a deal as you could ask for.
18. Aladdin Sane was the first ever LP I bought and still my favourite after all these years. Very sad day for music and the tributes will pour in for days.
19.
I'm guessing you're not interested in trades if you've taken delivery of its replacement....
The only trade I would consider, would be an Ashdown NEO 210 cab and that's a very unlikely prospect unless you are about to surprise me! I have gone all patriotic and bought an Ashdown ABM 1000 - the polar opposite to the Tecamp and rather like driving a Ferrari around Jersey. You never get to use anything like full power but boy does it feel good to have it! Our guitard hates me now... My reduced price is a bargain indeed and someone will have as much fun as me with it, and probably not lose anything much when/if they sell it on.
20. OK. This is now boxed and ready for whoever decides to snap it up at reduced price of £365 inc p&p.
