  1. My 32 Fender Urge has 24 frets and 19mm spacing. It's on ebay and on here for sale! Smaller body than all short scales and super light, active with kubicki preamp.
  2. It's glued in
  3. Yes, that's kinda the point... to attract attention 😂

  5. Here's a nice tale... Bought a really filthy P Bass with Aerodyne neck stupid cheap on eBay, and made 2 good basses with swapping around the bits. P body looks to be from the year 2000, thought someone might recognise the markings.
  6. I'm a novice player, need the thumb rest!
  7. Picked this up 62 reissue, made in the 80s, and it was wearing a Mexican jazz neck. So I got the luthier to put a Japanese rosewood fretboard Hosco on and do a full setup. Now it looks and feels like a vintage P. Body, pots, neck plate and bridge are all original. Neck is recent with satin lacquer back, tuners are Hipshot lollipops. Pickups are SD Hot, strings are TI jazz flats.
  8. This one has hand wound split coil jazz pickups!
  9. USA had the P in the middle. Mexican more restrained.
  10. Fenders answer to the Stingray. Excellent condition. All original. Fat sound active bass. Lovely neck! £795
  11. Lovely Mexican 32" active bass with Kubicki preamp. Tiny body, and very slim neck. Cat's Whiskers alnico pups, made to measure. It spent the last 30 years in its original Fender case, in an attic, so very light use and has had a pro setup.
  12. Let's see if I can part with it!
  13. Perefect example of the classic aerodyne. Actual Jazz Bass, not a new fangled PJ. Cool 22s serial number Weighs like 8lbs, looks like art! Everything you'd expect from Fender Japan, but more so. More pics to follow. Can ship with courier. Trades not out of the question....
  14. My local luthier has recently finished this incredible P bass. Boston Puncher alder body, finished with gun stock oil and wax, Hosco (Japan, Fender licenced) maple gloss neck with rosewood fretboard, and Hipshot Ultralite lollipop tuners. Aguilar Hot pickups, Fender bridge, CTS pots. Full setup. Selling as I inherited an alternative so just not required. Will be sad to see it go. It's a really well made instrument, with a deft and playable set up, and immense tone. More pics to follow...

  15. Nice. This one is factory....
  16. I have the kit. Makes the bass sound like it's at the neighbour's house 😂
  17. I bought this lovely rare lump last year, already modded but the electronics were a bit muddled. It's since been upgraded with matching Aguilar alnico pups, and the Aguilar preamp. Serial checks out on the EB site. Plays brilliantly, sounds epic and is in superb condition for 30 years old. Luthier setup, TI flats on at the mo. Trades welcome.
  18. Yes. Allparts neck and legit body.
  19. Well this is an interesting one. The body is solid ash, looks like one piece, from the 80s. A classic Fender P Bass that's been through some changes in the past. It's been routed for a bridge pickup, which is effectively controlling tone. The knobs are vol, blend and tone. There's also routing inside for a battery if you want to take it active. Weighs just 9lbs! Neck is Japanese licenced Fender Jazz, with 38mm nut, rosewood fretboard, frets unworn. It sounds fantastic, like a P Bass with extra sparkle when required. New strings, new bridge, new pots. Ultralite tuners. Bargain!
  20. Here's a bass so good they named it twice! The SB14 is a 2024 passive version of the magnificent EBMM Sterling. Like a slimmed down, jazz neck Stingray. This one is in natural, with an added EBMM neodynium pickup (as found in Stingray Special) and series/parallel push/pull switching on vol knob. Also sporting Hipshot Ultralite as part of the all black hardware look. (originally very anaemic looking) It's a mighty powerhouse of a passive. Currently wearing La Bella Deep Talkin. Very hard to find, I bought a few months ago, imported from Spain at about £1100, plus upgrades.
  21. It's a short scale, not a sawn off! 😂 The body is probably 15% smaller than a standard stingray
  22. It can be done. The Retrovibe preamp fits, and I chose to lose the 3 way switch knob for separate bass and treble. Now a mini switch. Some wood has to be removed on the cavity to get the battery in flat, but hobby knife will suffice. It's really worth it, 😂
  23. So here is my one off EBMM SS4. I'm the second owner. The bass was payment for content creation and was specified without a pickguard (or holes). I occasionally put a custom aged pearl pg on (lightweight double sided tape) so it can be one of the Stingray family 😂. Pickguard included. 30" short scale. Roasted maple neck and fretboard. Swamp ash body. 2021. It's in near mint condition, never gigged. . The finish is burnt amber burst or similar. Currently sporting Thomastik Infeld Jazz flats, it's the most active sounding passive bass I've ever heard. Cunning wizardry within. Comes with mint original SS hard case and some Ernie Ball stickers. Not desperate to sell, so no silly offers please. Collection preferred, personal delivery at cost or can be shipped as last resort....
