Hi Simon. Did you finally install a preamp for this? I ask because I have a squier paranormal rascal bass. The exact one, green! I have tried installing the Glockenklang at a luthier here in the UAE, but the issue is now that after the install it oddly sounds like I've installed a overdrive onboard circuit. If indeed the wiring is pretty much straight forward like how its shown on the glockenklang website where you just need to solder onto the circuit board as instructed, I've done that. Maybe there is a specific way that needs to be done for wide humbuckers?
