This would be for installation on a cheaper branded bass so will be an experiment to see if it works without too much work. love the sound of the ‘51 p bass and the jazz so wanted to try and combine the two

Good morning from Belfast, n.i I’ve been toying with a project in my head but wanted to see if anyone has ventured with the same idea. Replacing the neck jazz bass pickup with a ‘51 p bass pickup without too much fabrication to the insert. Any thoughts?
