  7. 20 quid an hour seems to be the norm, the guy i go to,who incidentally is a member on here has a really patient disposition,and puts you at ease- there is another guy on here as well who i have met when i went round to his place to buy something is another I'd recommend.

I've had mine for just over a year now, because of its weight use it for home rehearsals,band rehearsals and gigging, The build quality is pretty solid as I find myself sitting on it near the end of a 4hr rehearsal-and its not collapsed yet! and yes I agree with the OP about the spectracomp patch ,I have it as my default setting. I did find the tuner to be a little flakey tho'. I still use my trusty TU2,never leave home without it I have recently bought a Gramma Pad as I play mainly on stages these days as i found the BG250 to be a trifle"boomy" so after the next gig I'll know whether the GP works well with the BG.

  17. I've only been playing a lefty for 8 years-for the other 25 I've been playing a righty upside down=purely down to availability and cost. It can be annoying though when you see a bass you like and the manufacturers dont make 'em
