Trev. SOLD,GONE,Deal Done! Ta!
 2. Got to be the deal of the summer, shame I'm a lefty.
 3. +1 for the Guys at PMT manchester-great service and they are always open for giving a bit of discount-always a pleasurable experience -even when I'm not buying. and I've tried a few shops in and around Manchester/Bolton/Bury. On the down side I've less than Pleasurable experiences at HW Audio in Bolton,B@s%t*£ stripped the threads on my truss rod of my Squier P Bass and then had the gall to offer to sell me another bass at cost just to put the neck on my Bass, adding that you should be able to shift the body on fleabay no bother. i ended up getting our local trading standards involved and threatening legal action before they did anything-surprise surprise within 24hrs the bass was back together, and back in my possesion.Never going back there again-even if they offered me a Sandy at cost. Stuff 'em. LB
 4. Nice bass, pure quality. I cant wait to get my hands on one,

 10. I have 2 Squier's -a P bass and a CV Modified Jazz, both have high mass type bridges-Badass,and FCH respectively and the P has a few extra tweaks, pick up's mirrored scratch plate, schaller straplocks, and a Hipshot extender with D'Addrio Chromes I use these as my regular gigging basses and absolutely love 'em,I bought the Jazz after trying out a Fender but found the Squier to be far superior in build quality, feel and playability. I'm on the lookout now for a Sandberg JM4-only because I want one -no other reason. Trev
 11. It look's like he has overcooked the countersinking on the neckplate as well as using the wrong screws-IMO
 12.
Horrid time when pets pass on. Commiserations. Just be sure your trading down because it's essential. It's easy to do but hard to recover from if in 6 weeks you begin regretting the move. Money comes and goes, basses don't. Of course you need an MIA! They are bloody lovely. Good luck anyway Cant go wrong with a squier-squire-great build quality-I have two of em, (fender????)naw try a squier- youll hardly notice the diff, especially the vmjazz 75's.imo Col
Except for our Amber-15yo Heinz 57 only wakes up when the cat comes in..and then its an eway bet if she opens her eyes

 21.
A hanger? You mean you don't sleep with your bass then?
only when the wife is away
 22.
When your biggest concern whilst re-arranging your bedroom, is the storage location of cases, and where you're going to put your stand. So far i still haven't got it fully worked out. Liam
Precisely, not forgetting the Basses-I have one on a hanger next to the bed so I can have a quick practise without getting up
 23.
But you do have the TIM to resurrect it after more than a year!
Tsk...TIM does fly...where does he go

 25.
I remember 1978 very well (I was 21) but not for the basses. It was going to be a long time before I started playing bass, but occasionally I'd pick up my flatmate's bass to plonk around on. It was pale blue and said "Mustang" on the headstock, which I thought was a bit cheesy. He said "It's a shortscale" and I said "Yeah, like, whatever". I was hanging round with a wannabee band at the time. They were strange. The drummer was crazy, played too loud, and kept speeding up. The lead guitarist was an incompetent egotist. The vocalist had an enormous schlong and wore very tight jeans to prove it. The bass player was a quiet, steady type. How very, very different from modern times, eh? But catalogues? You want catalogues? And crazy prices? http://tinypic.com/a/r5s6/3 Sorted.
1978-a mere 17yo I had just bought my first bass of a friend for a fiver-It was a Hofner Artist,in bits too-I built it all up-didnt know anything then about set up's intonation etc, and i still have it,although it doesnt get played much as it's a righty, but it plays alright but doesnt stay in tune very well. nostalgia eh-is it really only available in b+w It's shown in Happy Jack 's catalogue.
