I have a good bass and I have a good amp... Why do I need a pedal?
Yep those things are a godsend! I had a Korg Pitchblack before I got my Zoom B3 which also has a silent tuning mode
Yep Boss TU2 for me,saves me the embarrassment of tuning up to the audience, more professional IMO. -
To be fair i HATE hearing people tuning up on a gig, it reeks of unprofessionalism
Bypass mode on a Boss TU maybe?? -

Yeah mate they had a couple of California' TM's and VM's-I think one of the Vm's Had a dodgy pot!-a bit noisy If I remember, oh and a couple of Basics too-all right handed as well I think the price came in at a shade over a grand-but you can always haggle a bit off-they are quite good in that respect.
God knows where it is. It was nicked.
I know where it went Settle down put the kettle on........ A few years ago there was a landlord of a town centre boozer in Bolton, happened to be a scouser(it's relevant) The band he used to play in often played on the same bill as the as the Beatles as he was part of the same music scene going around ,they frequently used to leave each others instruments on stage for the Band who were playing at the time as back ups. any how after one particular gig, everyone is packing away, and in the confusion said landlord packs away McCartneys bass-he didnt realise it wasnt his,as he had the same one. skip forwards a few years-wilf(as we'll call him)is out of the music game and decides to buy a pub,so I'm in there watchin Mrs Biskit play darts-getting bored,I start chattin to LL and eventually conversation leads round to music-casually mention that i play Bass,to which LL says I did for a time back in the 60's in l/pool. He then says follow me i've got something of interest to show you9warily i follow him up to his private flat-he only pulls out of his wardrobe a guitar case-hofner shaped-I know what they look like I 've got a 2011 re-issue,pulls this violin bass out so I play it for a bit ,its well gigged, even the case has done the miles,as you would expect.I take a look in the case-there is a small envelope sized piece of paper-written in pencil-property of P.McCartney. Believe me or not that is what i saw with my own eyes. LB.

I'm in the process of selling various stuff (including a kidney )so that I can get one! getting there just need one or two more deals to push on. I played on a couple at PMT m/cr recently-I was really impressed on everthing about them. even though they were right handed.

I'm currently floating about banging me head on the ceiling because of gas!!
I agree with BB3000, the more you play , the more you use the " tools of the trade " and the less you think of changing them . The more free time I have , the more I drift towards the For Sale sections ( just out of curiousity , of course ) and the next thing you know, a new bass or amp arrives on your doorstep . Its definately true that the Devil finds work for idle hands .
+1-no gigs this year due to losing our drummer, his replacement is now being fast-tracked to learning the set,so what to do while i wait??? I went to one of the music shops and played a few basses, next thing you know -gas attack,so i'm selling off all my unused gear to feed it.
