  1. What's the Tyler? As that sounds like what I'm trying to do? ❤️
  2. How would you use them to join? Can you just plug the output into the A and B and the it come out of the Y?
  3. Hi peeps I'm trying to sort out a way to split my signal. Apply different effects to different parts. Then rejoin my signal...anyone know what kind of gizmo I'd need to "join" my signal back together after it had been split? Does such a thing even exist? Any assistance would be very appreciated. Matt
  4. I'm really not sure this is normal. It sounds very muted and is about 1/3 the volume of the other strings. I've contacted musicman to see if they have any ideas or possibly just buy a new pickup.
  5. Hi peeps Had a stringray for awhile and could never get it to sound good. Put some new strings on it and got it sounding loads better except for the E string. It's dead and lifeless and has much less volume than all the other strings. Looking at the pickup the pole under the string is much lower than the ones under the A D G strings. Any ideas if this can be raised up? And if so and one got a video demonstration. Thanks Matt 😊
  6. You are a star sir. Thanks for the speedy reply. 😊
  7. Howdy So my band are talking about experimenting with lower tuning...specifically drop A so they can use their baritone guitars. If if put this set of strings on my musicman stingray am I going to destroy it. 🤣
  8. Thanks for the advice. 😇 Would the 500 have enough umph through the 8ohm cab? I'm new to this so I'm not sure what exactly goes with what.

    Howdy!

Hi everyone Joined a while ago but just made my first post. Been playing bass for about 20 years on and off. Got back into it big time last year when I joined a new band. Just treated myself to a new ehb1506 ibanez which I'm really digging.
  10. Hi peeps Looking for a new rig that I can move easily for smallish gigs. Only ever owned combos before and the whole amp/cab thing is a new world for me. I've spent the last few months looking at various options and have I think settled on this set up. Hartke LX8500 Hartke HyDrive HL410 I've priced them up on bax and I can get both with extended warranty for just shy of 1200. Anyone with more experience got any suggestions issues or any other advice before I pull the trigger? Band I'm playing in is a 5 piece with two guitars. Rock/metal kinda stuff but not super heavy. Playing small shows at the moment but obviously hoping to get bigger gigs in the future. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 😊
