  1. Haha I can think of a few different stores they could close although I never went to the Alt' store 😜😂 The Talman series don't seem bad little basses, nothing I'd drop what's in my collection for though. I hope you enjoy it
  2. Seen one recently but think it was exclusive to CME in that finish. I'll assume a MiM model though
  3. I miss MySpace. I stayed on until about 2010 before I switched to Facebook 🙄 I bet this now marks the death of the social media site.
  4. Hey Neil, Welcome to BassChat. Where did you buy it from? From what I've read sounds like an electrical/EQ issue which wouldn't be too much to sort but if purchased from a store, take it back or arrange something with Mayones ✌🏻 ....I assume you have tried new batteries? 😅
  5. I believe it does have a neck, if you check out the heel of the neck and up along the fretboard, you'll notice an subtle ebony fretboard hiding away.
  6. Bass Collection Power 😉👌🏻
  7. Is it a bass? A harp? Some funky hipster furniture?🤔 It's a no from me
  8. Andy is such a top bloke and the bass is even better 😉 The BB is just as old as Andy is, it shows that Yamaha's are really well made and stand the test of time. £250 is a steal! Grab yourself a bargain and buy here with confidence ✌🏻
  9. Both great basses, always found the SH a little on the heavy side of things- so if you're prone to a bad back, perhaps leave this one. The sound is pretty mint if you walk the bass and like a little brightness and attack from the maple frets. Can be a little too 'snappy' if you play with a pick. Seymour Duncan pickups and Rotosound strings are always a good staple for precision basses 😉👌🏻 Found this model differed a fair bit between being made/crafted in Japan to Mexico. Also I'm not even a fan of football, let alone West Ham The Nate hasn't changed all that much over the years, only going from Badass Bridge II to a Fender Hi-Mass. Weight and sound seem to be fair for the price point. I believe the neck is designed around a '72/'73 Nate owned, the one year that it was somewhat between a P and J neck. So an all-round good feel to the bass for all to enjoy. Not bad for a 'road worn' signature bass either 😁 I'd definitely say play them both and keep going back before you open the wallet up
  10. I believe that's the Musicman Joe Dart Prototype 😂
  11. Can't believe it's been 10 years dude 😂 miss you bro. Hoping Bristol is treating you well
  12. Colourblind, I'm safer just saying "Green" than pretend I know the difference between shades 😂
  13. Shame it's a 4 string 🙇🏻‍♂️
  14. How beautiful is this though? Would go so well in your collection 😉 I'll look after Marlowe for you hehe
  15. Just in the form of my lookalike, Rag'n'Bone Man 😂
  16. May I also just add Mark from Chicago Music Exchange (CME) to the list of good reviewers of YouTube ✌🏻
