  1. What's happened to your sticker? 😅
  2. Those tuners have been polished up nicely 😂👍🏻
  3. Both great basses, great features but for me personally, the P has more desirable features Inc weighing less, I like the mitre neck joint, comes cased and with warranty. Each to their own but I'd go for the P
  4. 2024 used or P34 New... Definitely the P
  5. stinky poos got desperate to take something worth that much to a Cash Converters as there's no way they got even half of that for taking it in 😅🙈 Potentially stolen? Possible enough it doesn't seem the right place for something of this nature to turn up. Fake? Lol, if it is, well done to whoever has done this, if it is 😂 I hope they got enough out the tight fisted basterds lol
  6. Suddenly £3k for a Fender Custom Shop doesn't even seem worth it.... If not already 😂
  7. Damn, those pics! 😱❤️
  8. Welcome to BassChat and the Yamaha BB Community 😂😂😂
  9. You saw the light then? 😉 Congratulations on your new bass. Which one is it?
  10. First of all, to get it out of the way. The cases ARE a nice complement to the instrument upon what you pay and help you keep it in one piece for as long as possible, before you need a new one... That's it's job after all. Upon receipt of my BBP's one pin has already come out of the corner and lost in transit so the leather has started to 'peel' I'm not fussed because it's something that came with the bass but really... An ABS or Hiscox case (as Yamaha did use these, at least for the acoustics) to keep these better protected and last longer. (Easier and cheaper to make?) The A.R.E. & I.R.A. is a phenomenal treatment. I simply can't really put it into much words but in both sound and feel, it vibrates in such a way it does feel alive and reacts to your playing... If you can try them, you'll know what I'm saying 😅
  11. Not taking anything from it being a great bass it is but I guess if you already have a BB1024/5/X then the Japanese model isn't too much of an 'upgrade' ? Automatically, if you were to have a 1024/5x a few on that list wouldn't be applicable My personal opinion is if you already have the Indonesian model, no, based there's not a lot of difference. Constructed in Japan, not Indonesia - meh Mahogany and not Nato neck - hmmm A.R.E & I.R.A treatment - ok, this is real nice! 😍 Case not a gigbag - nice but Hiscox/ABS cases would be more applicable. To anyone without one and interested, I'd personally say it depends on what your budget is. If I didn't have the 1025, I'd have the Japanese 2024/5.
  12. So why have fender stopped making them? 🤔 Always curious to how good they were as the second hand market was saturated with the Squier versions. We've all seen that Black/Black/Maple 5 string around 😂 Seemed like a good model for what it was but kinda rivalled the Musicman market. Which is perhaps why it flopped.
  13. There's a 4 string model going used, online more expensive than this 5 string. Someone jump on this bargain now 😉👌🏻
  14. Buy it. You won't regret it and something I'd say is on par (if not better) than Mexican basses. I own the BBP34 and BBP35 and it's up there as there best basses I've played.
  15. You're most definitely right 😅 you're a Gent' Mr Sparky
  16. RIP brother, she'll fuxking kill you 😂😂😂 Someone please save this mans life and BUY the bass 😂🙏🏻
  17. Clearly he's a Sith Lord, Darth Funkious
  18. Sold to the gentleman named @edstraker123 Thank you 😁
  19. You certainly know a Yamaha player when you hear them talk about models going back to 1984 and refusing space age models 😂
  20. I think Abba were in a golden age of great bass lines to be fair. Never played them myself but I've heard them many times... An ex made me watch Mamma Mia 6 times when it first came out. I could sing it better than Pierce Brosnan too 😂
  21. ....I'll get my coat 😂🙈
  22. Surprised there isn't more colours out... Little disappointing really.
  23. Looks mint! Would love to give it a go, only tried the Ibanez fanned frets and can't say they were great but heard a lot about these.
  24. Still better than Gibson now 😂
  25. Just me or anyone else forget this renowned series of Fender Precision basses? what even makes them grunge? 😂
