  1. And you don't mean the thing on the left? How many strings?! πŸ˜…
  2. How does the neck hold up? Always thought with the tension from the C string would require a second truss rod.
  3. Maybe it's for a Steinberger styled Jazz bass? πŸ˜…
  4. Very nice πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ» got that MIJ/Westone/Aria look about it. Throw some strap buttons on it though
  5. Which would be big a sale factor? Some would say its the best of both worlds πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚
  6. Damn, Jens Ritter sure knows how to combine bass and art. Not my colour but neither would I turn it down all the same πŸ˜‚ Merry Christmas, glwts πŸŽ…πŸ‘πŸ»
  7. Some camera obscura trickery πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ all the same, more sexy shots to see and that finish is remarkable 😍
  8. What's the action like? Don't know whether it's the lighting but looks pretty high up/bowed neck
  9. Forget Tony Kanal, Andy Trav, the yamaha bass man's, actual Yamaha bass for sale. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ» For anyone who doesn't know, top guy and not a bad comedian either. Buy here with confidence πŸ˜πŸ€™πŸ»
  10. Just noticed as I come back onto the listings πŸ˜… still on the search for the perfect bass?
  11. So the yamaha won? 🧐
  12. Pretty sure he has a pick guard for my BB I purchased about 3 years ago 😜 wouldn't say no if he's still got it 🀣
  13. I do like the aesthetics of the fender more but I think and feel the yamaha would be one I'd keep. Perhaps find a nice pick guard for it?
  14. Haven't played on but I've heard good things about Fernandes guitars and basses. I believe they make Burny (someone correct me?) Which make superb Gibson copies, some competing with serious money models. Are you able to check it out in person and get a hands on experience? Most Japanese made instruments seem to be top notch πŸ‘πŸ»
  15. Guild is a good shout but I do like the Hagstrom Viking bass. I know a few players on here will also vouch for Epiphone Jack Cassady too but scale length and handedness may be undesirable (unsure whether they make a lefty)
  16. I'd look at the Yamaha BB200/400 series. Fantastic basses and got brilliant construction and sound, especially with the B string. Lots of comfort and clarity
  17. Having played a few and not knowing what your budget is, I'd recommend finding a store that has a variety of these models available to try out and see what you think in person and hands on. I understand people like to have "the original McCoy" and pay top dollar, nothing wrong with that but not always to everyone's affordability and some of these cheaper models are pretty damn good for the money and a fraction of the cost of their American sibling. I'd be tempted to give them a go and even report back what you thought 😁 As much as I liked the ones I played (whilst working in a guitar store) I'm not one for active basses, or I'd have one πŸ‘πŸ»
  18. You'll have to stop selling the sort I like, just saying πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚ at least it's sold, nice bass and I'm sure the new owner is happy πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»
  19. I play 5's but just bought your Yamaha RBX πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ On which note: Craig's a top lad and absolute pleasure to deal with, buy here with confidence πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. Craig is pretty much part of the family now after buying and selling Yamaha's between us over the past year or two. Always a pleasure to deal with and a friendly, down to earth guy. Buy and sell here with confidence! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
