  1. One sunburst in stock in Dawsons, Liverpool
  2. Not got one myself but tried one in our store when we had it in stock: which sold pretty quickly and I think it felt more like a 33.5 scale (if it isn't!) But either way it was comfortable to play for all ages, shapes and sizes and it was definitely an awesome little bass to rock out on. The build was actually pretty decent for the price, nice and solid with nothing feeling cheap about it. The materials were substantial too. Ebony fretboard with dots and bound maple neck! Nice and solid chrome hardware, electronics were up to standards of a Mex Fender and cool to have a pickguard to change, for a look more desirable to you. Padded gig bag included. What's not to love?
  3. Wouldn't mind the MLB1-5 Pro though, it's just in that price bracket there are other basses I'd be tempted more to purchase. Definitely be worth trying one though, I've heard so many good reviews of Chapman Guitars (better since the Chinese ML I once owned [practically firewood])
  4. I'll definitely have to get around to trying the P35. I've always said that, as much as I do love Fender precision basses.... Yamaha do it better with the BB's and I'll probably keep going back to Yamaha for this reason. My 1025 is just my baby (hence the display pic) and I'll be in the market for another soon but a 4 stringer this time. Such a shame these are becoming more expensive for a P35 rather than keep the line going but with more options, than X for a scratch plate.... let's see what's to come as the Revstars have been given a few more colour options to each range.
  5. Wow!! Even for a Fender, that's a cracking looking bass!
  6. The MLB1-5 Pro for sure... otherwise, did someone say Ibanez? I'm thinking for the price as well, the signature bass seems good for those active 5 stringers out there who want multiscale and something between ibanez/Warwick basses but is it that good in comparison to some of the Ibanez' out there already?
  7. I do love my 1025 but being replaced by an active??? Surely that's what the BB700 series are for, Right? I don't know what to think of this as being an passive 5 string with great sound was the best thing about this bass. Imo, ofc.
  8. As revolutionary as these basses are, I can't seem to adapt to it in my mind... got to love a classically built bass.
  9. I'd actually compare it to the Boss Bass Driver, keeping it dialed low you can get quite a kick to your bass tone but obviously cranking it up or playing with the blend between both pedals (BD-2 & Angry Charlie) you can really drive your bass sound if you like some chunky overdrive tones. Played it only briefly on my pbass, more so on my Les Paul but sound wise is pretty cool and a nice pedal to use for guitar and bass but I'd say if you play a bit of Blues Guitar too, this is the dogs dangers for your sound.
  10. This was previously my bass, owned since new and is a fantastic instrument. I was never much of a gibson fan before this bass and it blew me away that i ended up selling my fender collection Geoff is a true gentlman to deal with too. You'll never meet a nicer guy to deal with. Buy with confidence
  11. I had the pleasure of selling SKB558 (Shaun) an EHX Micro Pog FX Pedal recently. The communication was great, even when I did have trouble using the courriers website finding his postcode and have to call Shaun in attempt to resolve the issue together. The pedal was also delayed due to the delivery service collecting (no weekend service)and delivering but Shaun remained patient and polite. I can't praise Shaun enough for how friendly, understanding and patient he is. A true gentleman to deal with and someone is happily buy from/sell to again. 12. Gibson thunderbird 》trade 》 Fender Geddy Lee & G&L M2000 I was approached by Conan regarding my Gibson for sale/trade and came to a good deal on trading basses. Conan came across very polite and open in the first message and stayed true throughout, an absolute gentleman. Someone open, honest and willing to go the extra mile should he know it would benfit both parties. We came to the conclusion pretty early on that it was going to be a pain to meet up to trade and after talking, we both trusted each other to send the instruments directly. Appreciated that Conan was an eager beaver to get his hands on the Gibson, he had already packaged up the basses before we even decided on when we were going to send them. I did recieve my half of the deal before his was even collected too, so I really do appreciate him having to wait on his bass arriving. Thank you very much Conan. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I hope our paths cross again... musically or trading more equipment. The very best of luck to you, my good man.
  13. Congratulations on uni and the new job, sorry to see you leaving for Bristol Have a bump from me. Shambo knows his stuff when it comes to basses, so a 'bitsa Precision' will be the dogs doodles and Shambo himself is a true gentleman to deal with. Buy with confidence here
