1. I'd leave it, to a collector they may see it as "years of touring" instead of a clumsy drop BSB
2.
Cant say about the tribute not got or played one but my G and L 2000 has my Stingray for breakfast. would say the sr neck feels slightly wider then the GL although in todays world there both no twigglets.
For the price, how much different are both the tribute and the US L2000? Surely I hope you know that BSB
3.
I think the routes on my classic are a tad bigger. TAPE MEASURE TIME the classic is a brilliant bass though, £350 and pure quality.
Exceptional for the price, if only they where out 3 years ago I'd have saved a pretty penny haha! Need to get some pics up matey BSB
4. Get me one too haha. How much are they going for? BSB
5. From the new one I tried (faded sunburst). it practically is a TBird but there is a different feel to it, even with the thunderbird neck :S I had to go home and think deeply on it before leaving the shop but damn, I'm still not sure now! For the sake of another shape to my collection, think I may go for one for all the wrong reasons LOL. BSB
6. Maybe they're shifting older models? I don't know all the difference between older me newer models but BB's seem to be top dog in quite a few people's mind Wouldn't mind be myself, tbh. BSB
7. I actually have one I'm trying to rid of, they're excellent basses, mines black with maple and got that nice jazz/stingray/sterling tones. I only got mine through collateral from a guitar shop who owed me money, shame I need the money or I'd keep it for sure I think as much as anything, you won't really find anything as nice in feel and tone and versatility for the same price. PM me if you're interested BSB
8. Actually surprised Nepheid hasn't been here yet BSB
9. Should check on the Gibson forums too BSB
10. Quite a nice bass, I do like the 70's styled Tbirds however, yes, the price is a tad too much. At most £250 in GC. The USA pickups in the Epi? Well yes, epiphone did with your classic personally I wouldn't waste my time or money doing it myself. BSB
11. UK mainland delivery inc or will discount to £450 collected from either telford or liverpool BSB
12. Hi guys, Here I'm selling a beautiful G&L L2000 Tribute in black with a maple neck. I got this from a local guitar shop as collateral, as it was closing down and owed me quite some money from guitars i had on order. Needless to say they didn't pay up. It is in great condition, no wear but without tags or the supplied gig bag (went the same for the ASAT's i got too) which i'll deduct from the sale price. [sub]Please note, this is NEW and not used or in "shop"/ B stock condition.[/sub] It's an amazing guitar for what's indonesian made, perhaps better than MIM Fenders and great sounding like a Musicman Stingray/Sterling (series/parallel switch on humbuckers) but i need the money of which i was owed more than i do the instrument. G&L site specs & images: Click here I'll upload pictures shortly. Any questions or offers, please PM me. TRADE: i am in the market for Fender and Gibson instruments in same price range. i don't have the cash to put forth, hence the sale. BSB

14. For the price, I'm hoping it won't be a bad bass just to toy around with. If I was a fretless player by hobby/trade and after a serious bass, then that'd be a different matter. I've noticed all pickups are no longer "Duncan Designed" and are now "Fender Designed" as part of the Upgraded for 2013. Surely that's a cheeky step backwards? After trying brands like Sterling (by MusicMan) I'm hoping Squier are taking a step up to making better quality instruments for a change. The Sterling S.U.B bass was fantastic for the £320 mark, for Squiers £350 range I'm probably going to get my hopes up lol. BSB
15. Danny, i hate you now ..... I'm joking but damn, these are some pretty nice basses. currently thinking fretless P bass and if I'm swayed back in to 5 strings, the Jag 5 I'd personally have to see and hear the 5 string P in person before i purchase one :-/ BSB
16. Haven't even one of them items but all the best with the sale BSB
17. Speed knobs on a precision! ……you genius <3 BSB
