1. Thanks for the response at least, all the best with the sale lovely basses. BSB
2. Any interest in a recently new G&L L2000 in black/maple? BSB
3. Posted in wrong part of the marketplace, would be ideal asking a mod to move it for better chance of sale BSB
4. I suppose on what sound you'd like to achieve from this customization, each to their own on body woods, necks, frets, hardware and electronics. Personally, I like the Gibson TBird as it is. I think for myself to customize a Fenderbird, I'd add a jazz neck with rosewood frets and change to a badass bridge or something just something simplistic and what everyone's used to but as mentioned, everyone's different BSB
5. I'd so have one! However, as nice as they are. I wouldn't put a Fender neck on an Epi body or at least not the bottom end model. The lakland model is awesome, however, I think I'd prefer a rosewood neck. BSB
6. I can't think for the life of me where I heard it but it was on the guitars (strat and tele) in a guitar mag/site/video, so don't quote me until I can find it but I believe there was 400 made of each model, world wide. Not sure which country actually got 250, probably US but I'm sure we in the UK got quite an amount too! Real nice bass anyhow, I'm gutted I never went for one but I'm happy with what I have all the same BSB
7. No paperwork to authenticate it? Well, could be anyone's old 4001 BSB
8. Not that I like them but Ibanez seem to be king of all things thin. BSB
9.
got mine for £875
I suppose really, that's a bargain for Mexicans these days and especially a signature, nice bargain Mr Geofio Personally, I always wanted the Japanese one but guess we'll see what happens I'm surprised they went to Mexico after they made the (not so common?) Master-built :-/ BSB
10.
I think the rule is that if you're selling, then anything that ain't a real Ric is a no no. If you're not selling it, then Mr Hall can look but not touch
I thought it was that anything labeled Rickenbacker but was a copy, wasn't permitted? Rules may changed since I last sold on here :-/ BSB
11. No 5 strings? BSB
12. That silver burst is pretty nice as far as Danelectro's go BSB
13.
Just purchased this bass and i have to say the build quality is second to none!!! fantastic sounding , replaced the supplied strings and wow what a bass, all i had to do was lower the action slightly and raise pickups the set up was pretty good. much better with battery compartment on the rear. solid feeling bass the neck is just right and looks great, the machine heads are solid and feel of high quality and are reverse. all good in my opinion.
How much, if you don't mind me asking? BSB
14. Seems like the standards of Westfield have improved since I had mine, really good value BSB
15. Nice BSB
16. Mahn, just leave it alone -.- it's a beautiful bass, personally, it'd only ruin it BSB
17. I think if its taken from a distance, to me, they're hiding something they don't want you to focus on- not always the way but you'll only end up taking more pictures and uploading them anyway in desperation to sell. It's generally a No Gamer not showing detailed pictures, people want to invest their cash well in these hard times. BSB
18. Dear Gibson, We know where the EB bass inspiration came from. BSB
19. Yes, that's the Elitist, practically a 70's inspired Thunderbird. Never tried one but took me ages tracking one down online For what the Classics are worth, I'd hold on a little longer, save a little more and buy second hand. Just my opinion BSB
20. Sorry, wrong thread, title mislead me nice basses however BSB
21. I'd always recommend nylon strung and then when they reach a point where they can progress onto steel, just my view BSB
22. I had one on my old gretsch baritone, they're ok for what they are but restringing them was a pain in the ass, I daren't think about it in a live situation as you'd be better using a back up guitar :-/ Some people really praise these but others really hate them. Personally, I'd try one before you buy one BSB
23. Never tried a Matamp but Ampegs are pretty awesome amps goes without saying I know ^_^ BSB
