1. haha if only we could have birthday and christmas early eh? two very lovely basses, not saying that as the seller but a Gibson admirer in general buy both and ill cut you a good deal? haha BSB
2. haha im the same but with both my Tbird and KN RD, just beautiful basses but the main reason for the G3 is for sale is its perhaps the one that can guarantee me some money where as the others are a "select taste". There isnt a great deal i can say about this bass than just saying "Gene Simmons, Mike Dirnt & Krist Novoselic" to name a few artists that have Rocked many decades of music history with this beast . . . . its just an awesome bass. Most people would think 3 pick ups would just be mad but this really is genius for the hum canceling but the sound is phenomenal. I'll be sad to see this go but i'll be glad to see someone appreciate this as much as i and the prev owners have. BSB
3. super tiny pictures :-/ BSB
4. Sold
5. any takers? BSB
6.
+ 1
Bump! lol BSB

10.
I love mine the tone is something special and I've never been a fan of precisions I was playing an American jazz in the shop when I was advised to try this and I never looked back I went back today and bought it and I'm so happy I did
I think thats a good excuse for a signature update and some rather sexual pictures Mine however; i am experiencing the Fender Retail "R'N'R lifestyle" of delivering whenever they like but from what i hear, well worth the wait. . . . watch this space BSB
11. A real nice looking bass, I would like one but 32" scale is somewhat too small and no doubt a price tag to match my collection as it stands :-/ Thank you for the link and info (Y) I'll have to check out what else your after seeing as we have similar taste hahaha BSB
12.
Isn't this just another P though? Any good P would do?
In sound, possibly but specs are different. I like the thought of a Pbass with a Slim C neck, LQ Badass II as stock and a Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounder. Just rock 'n' roll wrapped up in a bass- not just another name on an instrument BSB
13. we'll have to share notes once we've both received them haven't tried one yet, bit of a punt but a big Nirvana, Foo and general Grohl fan so worth the sentimental value atleast haha BSB
14. http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/22228_4850915383553_1061023322_n.jpg lovely collection and look like you had a brilliant time, dont suppose you could shed some light on this? BSB
15. basschat.co.uk/topic/183222-nate-mendel-signature-bass/ Think this might help Getting mine sometime this week. BSB
16. According to Gibson's "out of production" tab on the site it's not on there, assuming its still being produced. Best thing to do is to call your local Gibson retailer and ask them as they can get a confirmation from their supplier BSB
17. DV247 have them in the £800 region last time i looked BSB
18.
Kinda yeah, but kinda no - taking a vintage guitar gigging was giving me kittens.
i'd love to throw a spanner in the mix and ask for the black one ;P any decent offers or trade offers yet? BSB
19.
Outside bets would be Gibson
missing your G3? BSB
20.
What about the gibson RD artist Krist signature bass?
A cool passive rock bass which works well for me, some dislike due to being an artist model, weight (maple neck and body!) but if you want some versatility, active/passive bass then the Fender would be for you. My motto is to always try before you buy BSB
21. own one, love it and yet to gig with it BSB
22. what does it say exactly on the headstock: front and back? Looks possibly like an ibanez bass for sure but cant tell properly what model on my phone :-/ BSB
23. looks a beaut enjoy it BSB
24. never owned one but tried one a few times. ideally a jazz bass with a few bells and whistles. i do like it but dont think it would be one i'd own. each to their own as they say BSB
25. back in reproduction? 0_o BSB
