1. I'm going to say Shergold too. Just down to body shape, headstock + logo, scratch plate and general age BSB
 2. Not that I know a lot on this. . . . . But seen as Washburn made a Miley Cyrus (whatever her character was called) signature, who's a Disney "star" of whom made the HSM saga, I'd say it's the bass in the video above. "Washburn Idol"??? Wonder what it is between Washburn and Disney? 0_o BSB
 3. If anything. . . . . They need to reissue this, look for look (minus ageing), sound for sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySZDm0EAuiw&sns=em BSB
 4. Seen as Jackson are a sister company to Fender and tend to keep up with thier standards, I'd go for the Jackson, however, you may find the bass to be abit more "buck" than bass but all down to how you use it etc etc. Best wishes BSB
 5.

Haha Black Sabbath, another band I've only recently come to appreciate Geezer is quite phenomenal and underrated giving what band he's in. Awww that's sad but really sweet, you seem to make a great couple by the sounds of it and think very highly of one another, besides spoiling him at Christmas well we've been together almost 5 years now and still going strong through thick and thin Where you come from sounds amazing, I don't eat fish (or eggs ) but just the smell of some of this food would make my mouth water no doubt XD It seems in a sense you miss living there, do you?and I take it your a fan of food and cooking? BSB
 6. I never made much of LTD's tbh, I think the Surveyer would make an excellent gigging bass, something if you have throw about or jump around with and knocking cymbals with (guilty!) than your expensive Studio/home basses. Thinking about it, the Surveyer would be an excellent budget Lull guitar. May get around to trying both BSB
 7. I owned the "unofficial" Jaco P styled jazz bass and my god I loved it to pieces but had to sell it to raise funds: I'd happily own it again but the price being the same it was when I bought it about 4 years ago, think I'll wait a whole or see what fender bring out with just a rosewood fret. Really good basses though, especially for beginners who want a bit of quality compared to some. BSB
 8. Looking again . . . It does look somewhat phallic, I take my opinion back XD BSB
 9. Haha not a bad shape on the behringer (bad taste?) for a cheap guitar but just seems empty and too pale :-/ BSB
 10. To be fair, I've listened to a fair bit of Harrison and the odd 'the wings but as a whole, the Beatles are just something I'll never come to appreciate as much as others as you'll understand with the stones. I think it's a generation thing, as much as I wa raised on Pink Floyd, Mike and the mechanics, E.L.O, the police/sting and a few other 'Classic Rock' bands my parents where into, I do enjoy my fair bit of metal and alt rock of my day. It all comes down to what mood I'm in but my parents wouldn't dare dream of listening to what I do haha. LOL she does help me pick a guitar occasionally but it's more so on what colour it is. She's a good girl and we celebrate our differences too, too many things in common would only cause conflict haha. How are you and your fella? Where are you origionally from too? BSB
 11.
Ignore them, Grae. Nige is still a knob Now sell me your Les Paul to fund this. I'll start at £100
Ohhh Gus, one thing you forget it is giving me the G3 only makes me selling any of the Gibsons less likely to happen more than happy to let you jam it whenever we cross paths again. Go on, what do you make of te Lull anyway? BSB
 12.
That's the one! It would have to be natural, have a maple neck and a jazz control plate (not bothered about a scratch plate) and a P neck but yeah, I think I could get comfortable with one.
Have you seen the ESP LTD Surveyers? I know far from a Mike Lull but sounds like your sort of bass BSB
 13.
You'd go off it in 17 weeks and sell it. You have been seduced by a picture. What happens when you see a four string fretted one in the same finish? You sell the fretless five to a BCer, take a £500 hit, and skint yerself. Again. You're a knob. Just like I used to be
Haha i think for the price it'd be about 3 yearrs before i allow myself to change my mind Love you too, knob BSB
 14. I find cheap guitars more enjoyable to play, 1 because your not constantly worrying about bashing it or even scratching it if you use plecs. 2 the tone is pretty versatile as to "classic"/"modern" tones from the upper price region instruments, making them good for beginners too. Never really had much interest in Hofners, mainly with being brought up in Liverpool all i ever heard about was The Beatles this, The Beatles that i just grew to hate everything associated with them haha, but after seeing some of the Hofner CT series they have. . . I'm tempted JEEZ! i bet he was over the moon when he got that lol she's a joy really, when she was driving she did take me on a 120mile trip to collect my marshall and numerous times to guitar shops. i just always cringe when she picks one of my guitars up XD BSB
 15.
Hopefully getting this - having a couple of years bass experience under my belt, it's demotivating to try playing such a similar instrument but being nowhere near as good (which is more indicative as to my ability on the guitar than it is my bass skills ) Sounds like this could be a great help.
+1 and i always found my hands where made for bass but lets see what riffs i can pull off with this Lets hope for some Hendrix, Santana and Clapton :') BSB
 16.
Can't put it down mate. Really. That's got to be a good thing. CB
Keep rocking it dude, I've done the same ALL week on my new Gibson, nearly on my second set of strings haha BSB
 17.
Haha, that would do it - might need a few stickers, too .
CRINNNNNGE >_< hahaha punky indeed but seen stickers ruin some guitars haha. BSB
 18.
I was perusing the Lull section on bass direct yesterday. I quite fancy one of the jazzes with the T-bird pickups and a P profile neck.
The blue'ish one? apologies, im colour blind XD does look nice, just not fond on the colour but would make a PHAT Fender/Gibson cross i'd imagine BSB
 19.
Looks very nice indeed. Make it 34" and do something to that headstock and I'd be in a state of incurable GAS too!
Aye, the headstock isnt fancy at all, could be worse i suppose but damn, i still would ;P haha BSB
 20.
Sounds like you want a fretted, rosewood 'mocha' Fender P bass to me .
my that does sound good, if only someone was selling one BSB
 21.
so let me get this right... you don't really play fretless.... and you've gone off 5 strings.... but... you want this? why?
Haha, i know what your thinking but its just a beautiful bass mahn, take a look at it and tell me you wouldnt own that the problem i had with 5 strings is that i never had much use for it with not being in a band and some basses always had a sloppy B than something tight and defined that i find with string thru's and longer scale necks. Fretless? i've only ever had one, being a squier and i only sold it soon after owning it for urgent funds but it would be something i'd learn and play some day, if not an EUB. I've always been a Pbass player at heart, my first bass being one and a 5 string version would be the ultimate dream for but i don't think Fenders are worth the price no longer in comparison to other big named brands (Dingwall, Mike Lull, etc) but yet again, all down to funds. BSB
 22.
I'm currently playing a Lull 3 ts PJ5 with rosewood fb and there is no part of it that is less than fantastic.
brb, going to rob a bank GAS is getting the best of me haha BSB
 23.
Just back from the luthier after being savaged by a local music shop some 20 years ago.Long story involving vengeance. 1978 Fender Precision.
SWEEET and a lefty? quite rare i'd imagine
