1. My best mate owns the electric version, really nice guitar and yet like yours, looking to give it a TLC make over at KGB in Birkenhead when he has the money. Never seen a blue version of either guitar or bass so seems a nice rare beast. BSB
2. Pics? ^_^
3.
Prices for RD's seem to have bucked the trend for Gibson basses and rocketed recently; there was an all-original blond RD Artist in my local music shop for £500 only a few years ago, hung around for ages.
i think most guitars have, i always wanted a Fender Marcus Miller and a Rickenbacker 4003 but their prices now i just cba with maybe in another life when i come back to a rich family LOL BSB
4. damn that Alembic looks tasty
5. lol why not finish off your collection?

7. Or there's that option
8.
I think you may regret this.....I love my SR5 and don't use the B string all that much but it's there if I need it, and what a B string it is!
I know, I regret selling the last but I'll eventually get a 4 string with rosewood Thank for the thought
9.
Any particular type of Gibson?
What you got? I know of your G3
10. You could be better moving it to "For sale: Other musically related stuff" where people buy bass parts. BSB
11. Your looking about £800-1100 UK RRP for the basic Gibson KN RD sig, where as on ebay for the classic Gibson RD is £1700-2250 with different finishes, vintage appeal and all the other bells and whistles . . . . all depends on your wallet if your truly after a RD for this sort of money. admittedly, id own both if i could as they both seem real nice basses. The classic is delicious as a collector item and 'Only at home' instrument and the KN would make an excellent work horse for me BSB
12. that looks soooo good bet it felt like christmas morning opening that up BSB
13. If only the green was somewhat darker, I'd nab it BSB
14. *100% more in price*
15. For 100% more than this model? If anyone knows where there's any in stock to try let me know and I'll give you a good review to settle things once and for all BSB
16. i think i really need to check these out Cheers Wazoo
17.
Stunning looking bass, I really regret getting rid of my Stingrays, can't you sell a kidney instead?
Im trying to rid of a kidney too for Grand Wazoo's PRS if he'll ever sell it XD i may need one if that goes ahead
18.
Yes there's a PRS too but it's a 4 stringer. I believe the OP is after "the ultimate" fiver, n'est pas?
im still trying to edge my way in but failing miserably haha What are the fanned frets like on the Dingwall if your playing scales fast? wouldnt mind trying one but i can barely make it to Bass Direct
19. feeling like another Gibson (guitars and bass) or Warwicks if anyone feels like trading, just saying i dont have any personal transport so looking for trades ideally in the Midlands or Cheshire way BSB
20.
Dingwall there's 3 here in my home in London for you to try if ever you are in London give me a shout
PRS? LOL
