1. "For sale: Other musically related stuff" is where this needs to be
2.
Yeah, I agree - BigSmokeBass is biassed as he's trying to sell an SR5! ;-)
OI! ;P Haha. They're very nice basses and that's all I'll say on the whole. The Sterling, I couldn't believe I got my musicman before I played this otherwise I'd have saved myself about half the amount I payed. If I managed to sell mine, I'd get this, simple as
3.
Very nice! Shame it isn't a five string (did they even make a 5 string double cut bass?)
Only the "special les Paul" bass with Bart' pickups, money basses, out along with the SG basses where only 4's Real nice bass! Shame I haven't the money
4. Still the best Indonesian guitars on the current market, IMO. A few optional mods and you'd have something near the standards of the origional bass and for a few hundred pounds less! Bump
5. wow! only 7500Euros? a truly incredible bass and worth every penny from what i have seen and heard but outa my league or so my bank tells me have a Free BUMP!
6.
Bugger, saw "Bassassin" and got all excited
haha, sorry to disappoint you, what where you expecting? i play too much AC games and bass. . . thought it was a good combo for me
7. Would love to own some of these! Shame about the recent years price increases
8. My old TBird, well, feels like it as its recent and I've played it almost every day for 2 years. Purchased from Salop Music, my local, after it being the only decent bass they had. After being a Fender player for years and a real hate for Gibson basses (bad epiphone experiences) this changed the game and Ive loved this bass and Gibson since. This is my Les Paul I purchased from Bonners Music. Simply fell in love with the Vintage Sunburst, Slash written all over it (in bass form)
9. Hello! In a nut shell. Im looking to invest in one of these after being convinced from a few YouTube vids and reading up on the specs . . . I pretty much know a lot about this amp but haven't played or heard one yet in person. Looking to gather opinions from fellow Bass Chatters before i go ahead. Good? Bad? Anything you would recommend me to get with it? I have a Mac mini, pimped with all the additional options so I don't see any problems running this with the software but has anyone had any problems with the "free" software with either PC/MAC? Anything is appreciated! Thank you BSB
10. Personally I think £375 is more than enough, wasn't that long ago you could purchase them for that price . . . . Choice is yours
11. Nice Warwick bud, have a bump from me
12. Haha I was just trying to direct him to a "better" thread to boost his sales and by which I'm wrong and apollogise sincerely Lovely basses anyhow, Few years ago I was chasing the net for your 5'er, how do they play and sound? should get more pics up (Y)
13.
*Grin* However a Thunderbird is a traditional bass - just not as common these days as a Fender. Besides the Epiphone version has far more in common with a Fender bass than the Gibson instrument it takes it's name from.
Amen to that
14.
Stunning bass. I'd have one in a minute. Although they have seriously went up in value the past few years. I have a 2004 limited edition 4003 and it cost me £1200. Now they are £1700+?
It's aweful, I have been onto this for quite some time . . Marcus Miller 5 string going from £1,200 to £2,200 during the same time period. Lovely basses, just don't think I could justify the price. Ruby sounds nice, will look forward to that release
15. The 70's tele bass? I know on thier site they ship them from the factory with "Fender® USA Super Bass 7350MS, NPS, (.045-.105 Gauges)" but I know with me, Ive used Roto's and EB Slinkys on my 51 but my others are all top loaded so never come across this problem before. All the best bud
