Unfortunately the BC208 didn't work out so I went for the Warwick Gnome CAB 2/8/4 to pair with the BH250
-
Also is there much difference between a 10/8 and a 12/4?
-
Of the two which is the better? Asking people that know about this kind of stuff as I've not found much online. My amp of choice is a BH 250

Anyone bought from Thomann recently? Experience?
FretsOnFire replied to Twigman's topic in General Discussion
Placed an order the other day and now have an 8 to 10 week wait which I'm ok with as I don't need the item urgently. -
I'm about to purchase the following cable https://www.thomann.co.uk/pro_snake_bassamp_speakercable_15_m.htm to connect my BH250 amp to my BC 208 cab but to be honest I'm not sure if it's the correct cable so don't want to purchase before getting advice from BC. If anyone knows where I can get said cable from cheaper than the Thomann one I'd be really thankful

Eyes peeled for another BC208 😁 thanks for link to the bag

Just wanted to post a final update and say that I purchased the TC Electronic BH250 and BC208 from a local seller for £280 all in and I'm more than very happy with it. Big thanks to all for your input even though i came across as picky and indecisive 😆👍
-
Thank you I've contacted both
-
Can anyone recommend a cab to go with the 250 please?
-
Thank you! You have solved the puzzle that has been bothering me for hours 😆😁👍

I'm trying to lower the string action on my Harley Benton mp4-eb but I'm having no luck at all. I've set the neck etc but the string height just won't change. I've gone clockwise and counter clockwise and nothing. What am I doing wrong? I've included a pic with the holes I've been winding

Hello we are a Bassist (David) and Drummer (Jon) from Southend on sea both in our late 30s and looking to get a covers band going or join an already running covers band Before Christmas we met to jam once a month at a rehearsals studio in Rayleigh but Jon moving house meant we've taken a 2 month break and are looking to take the steps into gigging in the not to distant feature. We have been jamming on the following songs 1 The Killers - Mr Brightside 2 Kiss - Love Gun 3 AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long 4 TOTO - Hold The Line 5 Queen - Tie Your Mother Down 6 Neil Young - Rockin In The Free World 7 Robert Palmer - Bad Case of Loving You 8 Metallica - Enter Sandman 9 Phil Collins - Easy Lover 10 Bad Company - Can't Get Enough 11 Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills 12 Thin Lizzy - Don't Believe A Word 13 Stevie Wonder - Superstition 14 Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing 15 Billy Idol - Rebel Yell 16 The Knack - My Sharona 17 Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench 18 Foo Fighters - The Pretender 19 Steel Panther - Eyes of a Panther 20 Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By The Way But are always looking to add more. Hope to hear from you soon Regards David and Jon

Became the owner of this beautiful Harley Benton mp4-eb in Creme colour today. Changed the strings to my preference of Rotosound Roundwounds and lowered the pickups slightly as they were to hot for my liking but apart from that she turned up in great form. Very easy to play and glide around the fretboard.

Having done some research into a Rumble 100 v3 I keep reading folk saying it's not the greatest for gigging. I'm aiming to play functions, wedding venues etc with the rumble but need some input from fellow users of said amp before I take the plunge on it

Worst Live Act (Pushing it a bit too far)
FretsOnFire replied to theplumber's topic in General Discussion
Dragonforce at Southend Cliffs Pavillion about 13 years ago. Tiny crowd which only just made up about 4 rows and a band going through the motions living off through the fire and flames -
I'm right on the edge of hitting the purchase button on the creme me4 but looking at the 4mn is there much difference? Same pickup config just different wood is all I can see so it should sound the same right? https://www.thomann.co.uk/compare.html?art[]=443474&art[]=443467
