I have a guitarist friend who has gone through a lot a guitars over the years - his Squier CV Tele he says is the best he's ever had!!!

Maybe there's some weird psychology at work , some deep rooted guilt that you should like the fancy bass better but don't, and you therefore find that hard to justify. What was your childhood like? What do you actually mean when you say you like the Epi EB0 better? Mmmh? Dr Donnyboy( Struck-off)

Interesting, not sure about the Band of Friends,exactly because of the "New Rory" thing. Hair,checked shirt,battered Strat. Id feel more comfortable if he didn't look/perform like the great G Man. That aside I too am a big Gerry McAvoy fan, and always thought that Ted McKenna was by far Rory's best drummer.

Does anyone know any background to it? I know he also played a Yamaha, but I remember in the fairly recent documentary ( Last Orders), he said it must hold the record for being one of the most gigged basses- it certainly has been about a while! New album out soon too
