1. Thanks everyone I'm on the case, hopefully!
2. We've been asked for a copy of our PAT certificates for a gig next weekend. Never been asked before & we play mostly in pubs . Probably a good idea but we don't have any such thing. Is this something pub bands should have?
3. Great stuff , will be getting piccies?
4.
What are the chances of two guys on here from Paisley both with 57RI P basses?
I've been to Paisley, bought basses from Jezza, and got a Squier 57 JV with one of those strange strap buttons! Weird huh! Oh I've never tried using the button, but I may now.
5. Trivia - the " Joey the Lips" part was originally written with the late great Rory Gallagher in mind as a roadworn, played with legends guitarist. Rory declined the offer to play the part, so it was rewritten for "lips" Rory's bassman Gerry McAvoy played a bass ,( the right way up)., like the one in the picture. One of The Corrs was in the film. They are all Irish. Obv.
6. I like it as it is , but I really like what you're proposing to do with it - it looks fantastic and it's all part of its story.Bin the Jazz pickup nanananana! ( Although I do like the Humbucker/Jazz combo on my Squier Tele Bass- maybe not a great comparison!)
7. Good luck - I didn't play let alone gig for nearly 10 years. " Hey , let's get the band together for a one off charity gig!!" I wasn't keen , but we did it , about 30-40 mins I think. I was bricking it, and would've run away if I could've.. However, it was a blast and we were buzzing/rattling, and we're still doing it , as best we can ,5 years later. We've even learned some new stuff!!! All the best - Have Fun(der)!!

13.
I can't see her lol to be honest.
Probably just as well.
14. What's wrong with just thumping out a few root notes, for hours? Works for a lot of successful bassplayers?
15. If Joe Cocker played bass....

I did watch it without any sound first time , and it was , well, a bit disturbing. Not recommended . Much better with sound. Drummers got a good seat ....
