4. If I had £279 I'd get the new Squier Telecaster Bass http://basschat.co.uk/topic/183626-new-squier-telecaster-bass/page__st__60__p__1786281__hl__telecaster__fromsearch__1#entry1786281
5. great stuff watched it with a couple of largeV&T's as a post gig wind - down. What's the story with Fergal , not being involved 'n' stuff?
6. Thinking about it I think it was Slade! Live at Callendar Park Falkirk . We sneaked through a whole in a wall and watched from the woods - could barely see them but certainly heard them! Early 70's sometime.

8. Status Quo 1979-Alan Lancaster- loud , raw, energic. Had to run for last train home& missed end!!
9. Epiphone EB0 is light & if the neck is like the EB3 thin but short. What about a Mustang or Musicmaster type ,both shorties .?
10. Shame that. I get Guitar and Bass fairly regularly, but it does get a bit samey, and it had a revamp recently. I like the Private Collection feature, Dave Thingy , Jool's H bass player was in in recently
11. Not too sure about the cream, great story though. The blacks look " right"
12. Any more news on these? Anyone tried/ got one?
13.
Really? My impression of the Epiphone Pro that I tried was of a cheapest generic Korean active bass which happened to have a T-Bird shaped body. In the end it depends what you want, which bass is the right one for you.
Yeah it was very well finished I did get a Pro - boomtish - service done though which might've helped. From memory it was very boomy and I'd have preferred it as passive.
14. And again. Nuff said.

16. Had a Epi pro iv and tried a Gibbo . Thought the pro was top notch very high quality and punches well above its weight. If it had a much higher price tag it would be worth every penny and more.
17. Not lightweight , I'm guessing. Handsome Precision as well.
18. Love his recent stuff , still scared by his pant throwing , sex god period
19. Me too it looks " right". Used to be cheap as chips you say...
20. Nice one
21. It's something I would really like to do.i used to years ago but don't have the confidence now, oh and I can't sing in tune!
22.
Why not recommended? There are plenty of short and medium scale bass lovers out there. 32" is a very happy medium...it worked great on the Kubicki and those are great basses as well as the Birdsongs which are 31.5".
so it's not really a shortie then? what's a " normal " P? I was thinking it was kinda Mustang scale but I'm maybe wrong.
23. i certainly like the look of it - i've always like teles - not so sure on the short scale though
