1. erm, cos (a) it's a surprise and (b) because he's open minded, he'd be happy with any. I was gauging opinion.
2.
Is this P orange or it's just my LCD screen playing tricks? Cause if it's orange, it really has something to it.
Stunning.
3. you're right.. it doesn't help They all look good with the matching headstock IMO. Very nice.
4. Been looking at replacing my son's Bronco. The deal with 25 quid off the Jag Specials is good which makes it less than 170 from many retailers. But anyone seen these in the flesh in their various colours? Which one does it look nice in? He's pretty open minded I think; he'd be over the moon with any. Ta like!
5. Hi. What would postage be like within UK? And do you have any pics please?
6. If you can wait til tonight I'll get my wife to play it on piano. She can just hear a melody and repeat it.

13. isn't that cheating? Excuse my ignorance, I've heard about itand assume we're not takling about a whole car sponge! Do Fender make a special type?
14. Right. That sounds plausible. I' might have a word at the shop tomorrow evening. Advice on which pup next then...?
15. and the Jamerson sound is what i am indeed going for...failing that, i'll be happy with a Duck Dunn sound.
16. Hi. I've had flats fitted! The neck is gorgeous -- that's why I traded the CV.I was starting to think it was because the bass is still new, and it might 'mellow' a bit. Pups seemed the obvious reason but then I'm thinking if I trade the Ashdown and go for an Ampeg or Orange Bass terror, that might change the sound.
17. Hi. I've had the '50s a few weeks now. it replaced my CV 60s Squier which had a real thick, round sound to the bass with nothing added on the tone control. Withe the Fender, with tone at 0, there is still a hint of edge, which increases massively (obviously) as the tone is added. Problem is, I like the thick round sound, with no 'top' on it at all. Now, it's not so much a factor on the Ashdown combo; i can increase the bottom and adjust the mids/highs to take it off. But I'm now thinking is it areplacementpup job? is this representative of the '50s or MIM's in general? Anyone with anything to offer? Cheers

where are you in North East mate?
19. As new and barely used/ With packaging and even a battery! Ideal stocking filler. Will send 1st class for £25. Vox says: Bass' is modeled on VOX's classic AC100 bass amp, and expands its potential with a full-range tone that supports today's bass sounds. A compressor/boost effect provides not just compression but also a thick overdrive sound, giving you the perfect tones for performing in any style. Careful attention has been paid to the sound quality, and a high-quality FET buffer circuit has been used to obtain even greater dynamic range. Cheers
20. hi. It was supposed to be FedEx but after that initial order confirmation, there were no following details.
