2. Looks like I bought mine at the right time! I had it up for sale a couple of weeks back but withdrew it due to a drastic change in my financial well-being. I can afford to keep it now, which is good as I do love it.
3.
Thanks! Think I'm going to try my first set of flats on her because I think those are the original strings and I want to see what all the fuss is about Off to use the search function...
Great. I have mine booked in for this weekend to get some put on.
4.
Gorgeous
It's a simple word but not one I use often!

6. Mint. Never been used much or gigged. £7 delivered in the UK. Ta.
7. Are cheapos allowed?
8. As description, bought off peety HERE back in November but played a few hours in dining room. never left house or been modified. Pickguard film been taken off and that's it! Any detailed pics just feel free to ask but I have just nicked the old ones off the original sale as the bass is just the same condition. You too, will also get the padded gig bag. I'm in NE Yorkshire/Teesside but will dispatch anywhere. £240 posted. Cheers SORRY. Withdrawn, may go back on in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the PMs.
9. Almost 40, but young outlook. I'm open to many different styles of music and want to develop playing with others, possibly of a similar position. Can travel around the North east area and have own equipment. Give me a shout if you may be interested. Cheers.
10. .. without any major adjustments? Cheers.

12. Well I'm not playing in a band setting yet but having grown use to my J, I thought a slim neck was the way to go. However, upon getting a cheaper P, i quickly grew to like the thicker neck. The body shape feels no different to me yet and I love the deep, thick sound that the P produces. The jury's still out with me. Obviously my Fender J is a better made instrument so I'd need a HW1 P to do a favourable comparison but i do love them both.
13. Hi. Would a standard Fender bridge cover fit over the high mass Squier CV bridge or a Fender BadAss II? Cheers
14. J and P... sorry for the poor quality image, just had to show people!
15. Received my Squier CV '60s P around 24 hours after I paid for it as described, unmarked and packed really well with a gig bag too! Obviously a great guy to deal with; potential buyers need not be concerned in any way. Thanks Steve. Tony
16.
For sale is my Classiv vibe P bass in fiesta red, i only bought this last week as a back up however have since aquired a G&L 2000 and really like it so the classic vibe is now surplus to requiements. .This bass is only a week old, has never been gigged in facct has been played for less than an hour at home. Still has all tags and plasatic covers, the bass is essentially brand new but obviously can not be described as such as i have played it. At work at moment so will post some pics later. bass cost me £279 so am looking for £250 posted and i will throw in a padded gigbag as well. cheers steve
Hi. YHM!
17. I'm not a hot female and don't like stroppy people otherwise the Pumpkins would've been my first choice. I'll go for either Sonic Youth, Soundgarden or Kasabian.
18. I was watching it but missed the last few hours!
19. Hasn't his just sold on eBay?
20.
Let's get it Started - BEP
Me too -- today!
21. An afternoon spent practising Larry Graham riffs wasn't wasted after all. Actually, just getting down 'If you want me to stay' and improvising around the riff was all I did but it actually felt like I was making music rather than just playing notes and joining the dots. I haven't been playing that long and this was sounding pretty much like the funk coming out of my speakers. Just had to tell someone. None of my real friends are that interested
22. Bought Terry's LD150 last week and received it today (I requested this week cos of holiday stuff). Obliging, courteous and obviously well-respected here for many genuine reasons. Even got some firewood kindling into the bargain! Thanks again Terry.
23. Hi. To be honest I first heard him only last year on a Sky Arts rerun of Clapton's Crossroads Fest from 2007 (I think) and was quite blown away by that version of Gravity he did. I now have his album Continuum and rarely listen to it. I should try to live with it a bit more as I'm sure it'll reward.
