1. Cheers. Good point!
2. Hi. Just bought a Line 6 LD150 off here in the hope that when I do start playing with other people it'll be a decent enough size to get me through that and also any small gigs we may do. Now, the LD15 practice amp it'll be replacing will be ideal for my son who plays a Bronco. Is it daft to sell the 15 given that I'm not likely to get that much for it? Or should I recover £30 at best and allow him to plug into the 150 which will be kept downstairs? I know, a daft question really and one that I shouldn't need help with but given my history of hoarding/selling things off for next to nowt, I need it. Cheers.
3. You have funds! Cheers.
4. Looks like I'll keep both then. Change on a seasonal basis.
5.
Sorry mate I hate T/S
Some slow moving reptilian incident when you were a kid? Me too... applying the tort pick guard is part of my therapy . Thanks for the 'nice bass' comment. It's starting to get a bit of wear now, the nitro is thinning nicely.
6. Aaahhhh... spanner in the works! Thought we had a unanimous verdict here.
7. Thanks people! The Honey blonde looks paler for some reason than it does in the flesh, but i agree, after ogling the Fender website for a while (actually weeks) i decided to change its appearance a bit. I think with a maple fret a black pickguard would look good.
8. before: after... genuine fender Jazz pickguard in Tort. What do you reckon? Honest answers please!
9.
If you want it, why don't you buy it
God, i would love to. My wife would kill me though. I've been wanting a Squier CV just like yours for a while but that's around half the price second-hand. If it's still for sale in October I may may able to do something! Best of luck though and if i can't sleep you may receive a PM in the middle of the night!
10. Gorgeous.... want it, want it... have a free bump on me.
11. Time Is Running Out -- Muse Started with it yesterday. My posture must be f***ed because I can barely play it sitting down, which is how I spend 99% of my time with the bass.
12. Pics up later. Imagine an 'as new' Superchamp XD, even with cardboard signs on, never really played that much. Never left the house. I don't need an amp this good. £165 collected from North Yorkshire, will deliver up to 40 mile radius. Cheers.
13. Or would be willing to trade for an Ashdown EB 12 180 or Five Fifteen Mini rig OR --- Squier Classic Vibe Precision in Fiesta Red Money either way depending upon goods/condition etc. Cheers.
14. Hi. Unfortunately I'm up north, near Teesside! There's roughly £110 difference in the new prices of these and mine is mint. I don't need to sell, but was wondering about releasing some cash to go toward new bass combo. £70? Does that seem fair?
15. That's it really. Didn't have time or money to try anything but would've spent the day in there given the chance. Great shop. When I have a grand burning a hole, I'll be back.
16. I have a barely used (still has card board bits on it) Superchamp XD which I'd consider part-exing for either a Fender 600 Champion or Vox AC4TV. Cheers.
17. hi tom. Do I remember correctly, did you have a red Classic Vibe Precision for sale recently, or am I getting mixed up? If so, is that still for sale? Cheers.

Hello!

Hi all. I'm not exactly a 'just-joined' as I've been lurking the classifieds for some time in an effort to find those bargains. I live near Teesside and am playing a Highway One Jazz at the moment. I love it to bits and it is my first bass so I'm working my way around it, playing bits of Pumpkins, Zep, Cream, a few jazz licks and blues progressions -- endless blue progressions in fact! My amp is decent enough for home use, a Line 6 LD15 but I feel that when I do start playing with others I'll need a bit more. That's my next goal: to start jamming in an informal setting; i don't have a load of self confidence so it'll be tough. My next big purchase is likely to be a decent used amp, then after that a Fiesta red Precision I am currently debating whether to go for a flatwound set up as I feel it'll give me more the sounds that's 'me', if that makes any sense. So cheers, it seems like a nice bunch here. Do I need a tattoo next?
19. I would love this but am waiting to sell a bit of kit myself from uncertain buyers so I don't want to mess you around. I'm in the NE so will keep checking on this thread. Cheers and best of luck.
20. How about a trade for a mint honey blonde Fender Highway One Jazz RW? Worth an ask.
21.
Monday Bumpity-Bump !
Sorry... been looking for one last few weeks and bought a Bronco last week. Have a bump on me and best of luck.
