On a similar vein, how come I've never seen a Burns bass for sale on here? Is it because everyone who has one won't part with them, or because there are just so few in circulation?

I've just stumbled across this book in my local library, so I can be taken off the list. By the looks of things, SilentBob has it and Gub is waiting for it.

Finished it. Who's next? It's much more about the money than it is about the music, but it ought to be required reading for any young musician hoping to make the big time - those managers, agents and lawyers are all out to shaft you!

Finished it. Not a patch on Life by Keith Richards (and Ronnie Wood drops more names than a telephone directory while completely glossing over why he succumbed to drink and drugs), but it's an easy enough read. I'll post it once I have the name address for the next reader.
