It is option paralysis out there for comps however only one has a t rex painted on it. Jam pedals bass dynassaur.

Over the years I've used a bass clone, ampeg liquifier, hartke bass chorus, TC Corona. Managed to get a great factory 2nd Jam pedals waterfall from their reverb store and that blew them all out the water! For a budget option anything with a blend should get decent results! Hope this helps 😊

Reworked around the hx stomp just in time for a run of Xmas gigs and also the first for me since welcoming my daughter into the world!

I have an interesting response to this thread, but you'll have to Google "interesting response" 😁 -
I'll take a look, thank you! Bought the unit second hand from what I'm assuming was a pink Floyd tribute as every preset slow was a Floyd song, quite impressive really!

Soo thinking of selling this j bass! You may have seen this as part of my thread All hardware is decent quality import apart from the fender hi mass bridge. Pickups are emg standard j set. It plays very well, the neck is a bit wider and flatter than a normal jazz bass. I bought it as rosewood but not 100% convinced! I painted this myself so it's by no means professional quality but it holds up to abuse and you won't see many others like this! Collection from Nottingham/Mansfield area but can travel within reason

Apologies if this has already been asked! But in preset mode, is there a way to get the footswitch icons to display the name of the preset and not the code?

Bought a micro thumpinator off Dave, he was very easy to deal with and sent it very quickly 👍

Sorry if this is not the right place! But I wondered if anyone could identify the bass in the picture? This is my dad in Germany in the late 60s. He can't remember the make/model or even where it ended up. I have a bit of a pipe dream of finding one to gift him for his 70th birthday. Any ideas?

I'd kinda forgotten about this one- unfortunately this one never made it to live use as I came home to find the body had split from the heat of my kitchen (the body was very very cheap from eBay, to call it solid wood would be generous) Some day I may attempt something similar but for now- enjoy

These systems are the bane of my life when playing wedding venues. Using DI outs helps, I got a little eden 2*8 just to give myself and the drummer some vibration to work with but i can't help feel that customers are being ripped off by venues who allow bands but don't disclose this information! Once people start singing and dancing it can quickly trigger a db limiter/cut out 🤦♂️ My favourite example of this was the wedding planner asking us during the interval to "tell the crowd to dance a bit quieter"... I wish this was a joke

With a little brown streak at the back? 😂

Board no. 2 for rehearsals and smaller settings is still a work in progress. The only pedals on here I'm 100% happy with are the tuner and the Melvin Lee, I'd consider the comp and dim-glass as placeholders. The positive is the top level metalworking that went into dremel-ing out a kettle lead plug into the rockboard!

The mosky (amongst other labels) is decent and affordable, I have one on my practice board, the downside is the LED is offensively bright and will leave you seeing blue dots when you blink!

My main board for weddings and other events Shure wireless goes into a Broughton HPF (underneath) then to the dyna-saur. The signal them splits (underneath again) with a JHS splitter with a clean signal going to a Harley Benton Magnum DI to front of house and our IEMs, another signal path goes to the MXR octave, bass crybaby (with custom edge lord graphics) mxr el grande fuzz, way huge pork loin for grit and the dark glass for when things get a bit silly! This all gets sent to my Aguilar Ag700 straight into the ears, cockles and sub-cockle regions of pissed up party goers We do a wide range of covers and so far it's ticked all the boxes. Love temple audio boards but but the mounting plate system is totally over engineered in my opinion so it's long been swapped for 3M dual lock

Hey 👋 Just thought I'd show some of my basses I use for wedding gigs! Happy to answer and questions about the process 1. Pink Hawaiian print, no real story behind it but I love pink basses! 2. My take on George Harrison's rocky, the Fookin Ell is an in joke with my drummer that helps ease the pain of a 4 hour drive at 2am! Go Pigs Go is a little tribute to my bulldogs. 3. I rarely use the jazz-bird because of a shoulder injury but it's a monster. The cow print seemed like a good idea at the time?? 4. Nothing special here just rattle can pink over green which has worn through. This is my number 1 gigging bass as it plays great and weighs nothing! It's fast approaching 100 outings Hope you enjoy!
